I still keep coming back to this video because of all of the beautiful guitars. I love Martin custom shop guitars. Heck I love Martin standard guitars. They just make remarkable instruments. Thank you Peach Guitars for doing more to promote Martin Guitars then even their own company does.

Oh, I did enjoy this! I’ve built a few guitars, but my expertise is in restorations of high value vintage guitars. I thought you were exaggerating when you said, early in the vid, that this may well be the best selection of Martins viewers had seen, but you’re right! Just WOW!
I own three Martins, currently, and these three will remain with me, but I’ve owned many many Martins, Guilds, Gretch’s and Fenders ( I’m not a Gibson fan). Today, I have about 50 in my collection, honed over 45 years as a guitar player. This is/was a fabulous selection, and the most pearl tops I’ve ever seen together!
I’m waiting for my 60th birthday treat to myself, my first custom shop Martin, a 000-28, short scale in a sunburst with herringbone binding (still can’t afford the abalone!) an Adirondack top and Madagascar rosewood b&s, and some “secret” bracing requests!
It’s been ordered for a few months (I’m in Canada) and will deliver in the middle of February (the most God awful month, in this country). I can hardly contain myself! 60 yrs old with 50 guitars and I’m dreaming about this new one!
Oh, I got it bad, don’t I? I have a terrible muscle car fetish, too, and I have a large collection of firearms - long barrel - rifles and shot guns, no hand guns.
I freak’n LOVE simple elegant engineering and of my three loves as a collector, guitars has the firmest grip on my brain!

I certainly recommend the Martin factory tour, the blast of exotic wood as you walk through the door is intoxicating, it inspired me to build a couple guitars myself

What a wonderful store!!! I live about an hour from Martin's factor, which I visited often. I have their Ukulele Tenor 2 custom made, which I highly recommend. The factory is just amazing... go visit...

My Martin was made in the Mexico plant... The fit, and finish on this guitar is beyond my expectations absolutely beautiful.... The sound is perky, w/ a nice sounding bass as well.... It crosses over well from rock to country, and blue grass... Am I happy w/ it "HELL YES"

I was really hoping to hear you play these Peach.

Im a beginner guitarist and I've just bought a beginner Taylor (Academy 12e), so I am a little biased towards Taylor. But man, these Martins are gorgeous AF!!!!! Can I just be neutral and say I love both Taylor and Martin????

Undoubtedly all these are brillant guitars. The most important thing is to set the saddle height with careful measurements, essential use the steel ruler and the sand papers, before they can be played.

Be careful with those stands. The back of my brand new GPCPA1 was damaged from the oil in the rubber. Otherwise, they look great.

It is probably hard to imagine the internal stresses in the backs of those highly figured woods. Instruments you should be very diligent in keeping humidified.
I had a D16-GT I took everywhere with me. Road trips, camping trips, hiking trips...sometimes in the truck, sometimes in the tent, most the time in my hands. In fact, in the 20+ years I have been noodling around on guitars, I have never used a humidifier or even considered the humidity other than "is it raining? No? Were good..."...the only damage ever dealt to one of my guitars was a falling drunk.

There's little market for custom Martin's in the US. Most would buy a boutique brand before a custom Martin.

I would have appreciated hearing what the body shape designation was for each of these quitars, but you only said what they were a couple of times.

I have a 2015 614ce a2018 814ce dlx v brace a 2015 816ce and a 2015 914ce that's never been played and baby taylor and I did find a 1980 d28 martin I liked I bought these all brand new except the martin
