LOVE this video. The master and his band at work. I am never quite sure what people mean when they speak about being in someone's shadow. Peter was a confident and self-assured man who knew the type of music that he wanted to write and sing, as well as the musical arrangements that accompanied his music which was always unique. He was a master of his craft. He was a leader, not a follower. He exudes confidence on stage with a commanding presence that is mystifying and captivating. These qualities do not strike me as someone who was in the shadow of someone else. So brother man, you should rethink that statement.

this was Savanna-la-Mar December 24 Trelawny Beach Jamaica 1977 concert but they edited like one love peace concert and heartland regaae tooo just an increible performance .. i have this dvd too heartland reggae with the extras very good with chris salezcevitch coments .. amaizing 1

This doesn't look like the "one love peace concert". That was held in an outdoor stadium in front of thousands, not indoors. He done the infamous speech there. This looks way earlier.

My main regret is he tol dem to turn off the camera and by far that was his best live performance and he went by the name WoldeSemayat after he got baptized in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church

I wish l had met him when he was alive. I will always loves his music.nobody can top him. I really loves when peter tosh dance. But the vibe was that Peter was seeing how the Rolling stones were capitalizing on his music, Rolling Stone records were collecting on him and he didn't get a dime. So Tosh wanted to capture the house. Keith was coming back to claim the house. Peter said if he put him out, he would have a machine gun. And Keith was calling Peter's bluff. Tosh did leave the house but before he did, he trashed the place. Garbage, animals all over the place. He left the house as a wreck.
