Would you recommend this in a fall cover mix? Planted around sept 15 in southern Missouri? Zone 7
I was thinking of an overwintering mix with elbow rye, hairy vetch, daikon radish, and flax.
I’m fully expecting the flax to die. But I thought it might be beneficial for the first 6-7 weeks before frost. Thoughts?

Yes, this should work pretty well in that situation.... It will not likely overwinter but should give enough growth in southern MO to make it worth the cost of adding it to the mix
