Yeah man imma need that maul costume real quick, arguably the best costume in the whole video and you didn't say a peep about it unless I'm missing something. I keep rewatching to make sure but I can't find it.

Dante and Virgil were the most creative
I summoned a duelist in liurnia named Lift Mechanic, dude immediately went to the lift and cordoned off the area with glowstone and hit it with a hammer to work on it, then used a telescope to inspect it. Once finished he had me pull the lever and jumped in the hole... 10/10 encounter.

I keep thinking of the idea with Moonveil sending out a Waterfoul attack but with not as much damage. So the travel of Transient with no damage, but Waterfoul or the Black Blade kind of circular slashes of it.

@Hung XD Vu The weird thing is it can happen with a few armors. I had a glitch once where the Carian Knight set had all it's blue pieces turn black. It stayed that way until I fast traveled. I was sad.

@@ashtonarrington698 as much as I love them souls games are just extremely one dimensional repetitive combat that gives you different options which are most of the time completely useless. witcher does it right where you get rewarded and stronger for every potion, oil, rune, armor set you use, you can choose not to, but using your options not only is more immersive but makes things easier as they should.
@@daxia0it helps that Geralt doesn't need to buy his consumables anywhere, just needs a little alcohol and he'll make another fresh batch.
Really loved the Kratos and Aang cosplays. They were just so strong and the character design/attacks were so fitting.

@@jabrilwebb5624 He didn't look white, he looked like a goblin. And he(Cartoon Aang) didn't have asian features to identify from anyways. He was just a pale(got darker after seasons) kid.
@@midgard9057 Bro his name is Aang that's an Asian name it implies he's asian...also 99% of all anime don't draw their Asian characters with Asian features because it's difficult to draw emotions and have diversity. Asian people have the same features such as pale or yellow skin, slanted eyes, and black hair...thats why they give anime characters unrealistic hair styles and hair color to make them diverse from each other. For example naruto has yellow hair and blue eyes non asian features but he still asian

My favourite cosplay is the "Omega Tryhard", quite a lot of people run it. It's the full bull-goats set with Varre's mask, mixed with either Rivers of Blood or a ultragreatsword. If you do use the greatsword be sure to only crouchpoke spam, since it's so much fun to fight against.
You forgot bloodhound step, so the rivers variant is slightly worse
Actually if you want to make it even more fancy you could add stars of ruin with another 60 levels intelligence

Elden PvP really is trash
For Kratos, “SHEILD BASH” on a round shield would’ve been good also. As well as the “ERDTREE GREATSHIELD” for when Kratos throws projectiles back at enemies. And the “BEAST CLAW” incantation for when Kratos slams his shield into the ground and sends a wave of damage forward.
We still need an axe as well

I used the zamour gauntlets with my kratos build as it gives more of the chains and bandages on the arms look from 2018

hey there since your the creator of the orc perhaps you can say exactly what its a cosplay of? because generic orc isnt exactly a cosplay so i feel something was lost in between,
@@LeiraVeil-Challenge He's not modeled to be any orc in particular. Cosplay in general doesn't have to be of a super specific and well known character. If you have ever looked at convention photos for example, people cosplay as nameless Spartans from Halo, or Team Rocket grunts. I don't think anything was lost in between, I think I just stood out in a sea of Guts and Geralts haha
@@rathfoks5051 ah okay. Generally speaking cosplay is usually used to denote a specific character though.
I'm not saying it was a bad character. Very good sculpting in fact but alot of people wouldn't class it as a cosplay.
Also yeah I'm very sad to see all the common cosplay making it onto this list when I know there was so many more unique ones that could have made it.
@@LeiraVeil-Challenge Eh, I think it has a broader definition than what you think. I have a friend with a hand made stormtrooper outfit that looks like it was pulled from the movies, and if I feel like it would be injustice to not call it cosplay just because it isn't modeled after a major named character. Anyway, that's all I have to say on the topic
@@rathfoks5051 im going by the definition that came up on google that implies it has to be a character. plus thats always been the case for these top 10s in the past. im surprised sunlight would break that now.
btw stormtrooper, team rocket grunt are technically characters...but generic orc? i mean if it was say generic orc based on something it would work barely but still however generic orc is really stretching it.
again though you did a very good job with the sculpting so i look forewords to other submissions in the future. dont take this as me trying to be funny or anything i was legitimately just trying to figure out what got lost in translation. (which was apparently nothing)

@@jaydeejay4166 Then it would have to be a three-way split build between faith, strenght and intelligence with some Arcane sprinkled in to even use the bubbles. Wouldn't be very playable in NG or even NG+ tbh.
@@Smeik2901 normally, I would put style over substance for any cosplays but elden ring pvp is so fragile that it's hard to show off your tools before you die

@@Smeik2901 you could always use the staffs and seal that scale with arcane and do a strength arcane build. Just have enough of the other stats to wield the spells you want.
The DMC twins for creativity, and the Geralt one for how accurate it looked and felt while they were showcasing the build.
Sons of sparda was brilliant!
Dad and Boi was genuinely impressive.
Sypha was a work of true inspiration, beautiful.
Geralt was a genuine love letter to its namesake.

I never realized that lions claw and giant’s hunt on a great sword are essentially Cloud doing braver and focused thrust. Brilliant.

I fought them in PvP once. I recognized the character name. I was amazed at seeing it and the fact they put up a great fight.
All the builds were extremely well done. Fantastic work by everyone listed!
I’ve duelled someone cosplaying as the Jibaro girl. Used only screaming related ashes and incantations like Shabriris howl. When she spawned she even telescoped from afar, to imitate the character spying at the knight in the beginning of the episode. Also used fancy spin when greeting me like how the character dances. ER Cosplayers are so cool lol.
With so much Kratos cosplay bombarding the community, I liked this one the most. Especially with Atreus as partner. But damn the Aang cosplay got me hyped. I think I'll be doing that, too.
All of these are freaking amazing, but I've read that just getting one Magma Blade to drop is EXTREMELY rare, so getting two of them through farming is a really impressive feat. And he REALLY does look like Kratos. That is super freaking cool.

@John Doe. Thats what I love about it. Its pvp may be arse, but at the same time its great fun to fight players. It does have a lot of problems though, many inexcusable.

really enjoying this format. it promotes creativity and inspires the elden ring community to try something new. im so tired of all the meta builds. especially the high poise crouch pokers. the most op stuff i surely dont need to mention here ...
I started the soulsborne series playing DS2 first. It was then I tried fashion, and combined a lot of different armour sets that really clicked well together. Tried it in DS1, but I only got 2 I really liked.
Then when I started playing DS3 and BB, I did it again, and it was nice having a range of armour sets.
It's nice when people put in the effort to look cool as well as play well. I get you, meta builds kinda do suck for how overdone they are. People tend to choose only the best stats than be at least creative.
@@littlesneets8026 in the beginning i was just going for some theme with my builds. i have some really strong ones that look fashionable too. overall i enjoy lower poise sets though. the okina set or the black knife are my favorite. you cant tank anything without getting staggered in these though. what i do vs the big boys is. i just stagger them first. once they are poise broken most of them dont even know what to do its hilarious. for attacks just have hyper armor though ... for instance this crouch poke bs ... insane tracking and hyperarmor. slow clap. skillful gameplay. trades everything and outdamages everything. these players have no skill

@@junoglrr9119 ? dude the lag. and it trades through everything. also the tracking of this attack is the best in the game. its not unbeatable but its literally spamming one move and beeing untradable. this is so lame and requires no skill
@@ts6603 there could be a million attacks, a thousand times better than r1(l2 in ER) and people would still only spam one attack. Get used to it. Idk why thats a thing tho.

I NEVER would have thought to do an Avatar Aang cosplay! I'm actually amazed at how well they shaped the head that it actually makes their body look child-proportioned. The Ivan one is also creative in a way no one would expect. I just really love the cosplays that you'd never think about until you see them in action.
Besides the hair (obviously youd have to mod it in) the Cloud and Aerith cosplay was so spot on giving what they have to work with. Great video !
I was surprised at just how well done some of these were, I like going into the movesets too.

Definitely do so! I'd love to see it. I was toying with the idea of making Trevor and Alucard for some time now but I wasn't sure how accurate I could get them to be but seeing this has inspired me to give it a try.

I have personally cosplayed in ER as Tifa Lockhart and I love the occasional applause from fans of the Final Fantasy series.
The lore in these games can be dark af, and the games can be difficult, but the memes and memers in between are a great comfort. I love it to death

That Avatar character was incredible! The Ash of War makes him look like a real air bender!
The DMC 3 cosplay is more accu6that I originally thought. In that game the ability doppelganger creates a clone of the player. So far so Mimic Tear. Well when it came time to have the boss fight where you team up with Vergil, there were some issues. Not sure if it was a code problem or time butthey needed a work around to make it work. So they turned on Doppelganger for the fight, made it clone Vergil instead of Dante, and turned off the Devil Trigger requirement. That cosplay didn't not just recreate the characters, but the mechanic.
It's either a result of the second player shenanigans, or it could have been the PS2 couldn't smoothly handle having Dante, Doppelgänger, Vergil, and the enemies all fighting at once

Storm Blade is a good AARD replacement. But, Rejection incantations would also be quite good. Because, AARD sort of a Wall of air.

Very nice builds but idk I think double naginata or double curved sword bleed seppuku with bhs is much more original and impressive
Literally all of these are so well made. Every last cosplay was top tier. For the Vergil cosplay though, I would've had another katana in my right hand with the Glintblade Phalanx Ash of War instead of using the staff. Would've looked way smoother, since Vergil doesn't use staves.
The cloud cosplay should’ve used Iron Greatsword instead of UGS
@@mattbergamin9001 Iron Greatsword makes more sense moveset-wise, since Cloud swings his giant Buster Sword like it's nothing, but Iron Greatsword looks too thin.

He did it because it's hard to find armor for him, so he went with the Netflix Series look.
@@Patches_Gaming it's also quite similar to what geralt wears at kaer morhen in the witcher 3 , he also wears that in the hearts of stone dlc cover.
Sadly, there was no white shirt like this so i went with the prisoner cloth which more resembled the netflix series , which was almost definitely inspired by the games in their choice of clothing.

The Witcher one was the best. It even came with its own viable and fun play style.
The witcher one definetly deserved to be number 1, it had the most amount of effort put into it and it was the most accurate looking

i hate to be this guy i really do but could you have picked a more generic set of cosplays? ive lost count of the number of snakes, kratos, geralt and beserk characters ive seen.
i came here for some unique cosplays not the same stuff that everyone is doing. may as well have thrown in a saitama or shrek.
also multiple cosplays per submission just feels like cheating.
edit: also just a generic ORC...thats not even a cosplay.
Not a generic orc, SB just doesn't do any research as per usual. It's a Warcraft orc, probably took inspiration from Grom Hellscream but it's not a concrete 1:1 cosplay so I agree it shouldn't be on the list.

No offence but...these are terrible.
Most of them are really common, kratos for example, one of the starting armour sets is a near perfect match so dozens of people have done it.
And most of them broke the rules by putting in multiple.
The orc wasn't even a cosplay! That's just a regular elden ring character that they designed after a generic fantasy creature!
It's sad to know that many people actually tried and that of the ten who made it only maybe 3 are decent.

If all of them were extremely niche and obscure characters that no one recognised, the feedback is not gonna be good 😆. Anyway, I work with what I get and this is what people are making
