I remember hating the last part of Alaska Day 2 because of the scripted sequence where the caribou is frightened by the bear roaring. It stressed me out so much because of the roar coming from offscreen, the animal suddenly running which means I have to kill it quickly, and the tense music. Ugh, I couldn't take it back then. I should go back and play this again.
thank god for this guy posting this on here i was stuck on alaska day two for like 3 hours and couldnt figure out how to get the sheep i even used the long barrel rifle that they said would work best with distance didnt do shit....so i went back to the automatic and boom when i got the sheep in the target mark i got a spine kill and i beat the game not too long ago....and yes im a girl now im just giong back to the levels and shooting the small animals and making better kills
@SayHiToGodForMe its for people who have probably never hunted before and can't make out the animal from its tracks, that's why it has to show it to the player in that way.
@MrChriskenser actually your supposed to aim for the one hit shot like the spine or heart or like you said the lung, but if you make a great lung sh0t you will hit the heart tooo....

The X-Box has SOOO much better graphics! I have this for the Wii... never realized they were that bad LOL... but still an awesome game. Cabela's FOREVER!!
If these guys made a game where you were living in a hostile dinosaur environment trying to suvive with just a sniper rifle and shotgun,,, I would absolutely 100% play it. But killing innocent creatures... no, I know it's just a game but it removes all the appeal to me.
True...Very true...but I still like to play this game. Obviously, I would never go out in real life and shoot these wonderful creatures, so don't worry about it. I bet this game has never inspired anyone to just say,"Oh, I want to be just like Sharp and kill all of these innocent creatures." Right?
it's a game. play The Hunter if you want to have realistic hunting. but what's fun about realistic hunting in a video game? it's only fun in the real world.
these games are so bad. i want a free hunt where the animals are actually hard to find and you cant walk 10 feet away and do headshots. cabelas games suck.
