Nice transitions ! Importing very simple screen with no component from Figma is ok. But when you have complex screens with multiple components, does it work as well ?
Thanks Dani! I don’t have a full protopie course yet, but I know they have some official training videos on their site and a bunch of example projects that could help bring you up to speed quickly.
@@AppDesignTips thank you, and btw I . bought your course on udemy and you explain so good and to the point without wasting the time of the students, cheers
Instant sub here, Thanks for the video! Do you know if it's possible to export the animation to code? I'm trying to help my devs in any way I can and unfortunately, the only options I find are *really* shitty with the actual code that's being exported or doesn't have the option altogether.
Oh boy! I feel your pain! Unfortunately, no. None of these tools have great code export options. It’s the headache we all share but best option to date is having them custom code manually or starting with example code they find online that is close to the desired target and tweaking. Whatever program nails this problem will have all designers business.
Only by using QuickTime or a similar screen recording app. You can record a portion of your screen that the animation is on and then play the animation and save the recording as a movie.
Im trying now change the color button - when you "mouse over" (it's one color) and when you "mouse out" (when the button becomes the original color). Maybe im very stupid, but i can't change the color of the button in a simple way. Can someone tell me? Or protopie can't do that?
@@dotsona07 Seriously? Just paint a button from one color to another? :) Do you know in what programs like "Protopie" i can do such a simple function? Maybe in "Principle"? You don't know?
I love it but change your Category RUclips - Film to Category RUclips - Education so all can see under the right category as most of the company block Category RUclips - Film category so change all your video category to education.
Come down to comment; every damn comment is hearted; leave in disgust. If all comments are hearted, none are, friend. You would think a great designer such as yourself would know better.
A like and a heart lets my viewers know I engage with every comment and I take the time to listen when they spend time to give me feedback or comments. As a designer, I notice I have 99.9% more likes than dislikes on my videos and my subscribers are growing. Stats go up, viewers are happy, as a designer and youtuber that’s my goal :) Also, the more engagement signals RUclips measures such as likes, comments or hearts, the more prominently videos appear in search and discovery. Thanks for the feedback, but I’m sure most others have a more appreciative point of view on my likes and hearts.
@@AppDesignTips You sure do have your reasons, but I respectfully reiterate that if I go down to the comment section and there are two hearted comments, I know that those are special and you want to single them out with a heart. A more limited but stronger treatment is pinning a comment. Your comment section is just bloated the way it is now and I know I'm not the only one who feels this way (I'm starting to understand why every video has downvotes no matter what?). It's also hard to imagine that RUclips cares about you spamming a heart at 95% of the comments. Come on.
I am just in love with this tool! I NEED IT!
just want to say thanks for making this & sharing tips on duplicate & function. It really help me understand quickly
Omg thank you finally another tutorial. Could you please make more vids like this

Nicely done!
Appreciate the easy follow instructions
This is awesome, so excited to try this out. Thanks for the video and your effort :)
Can you put the file from protopie to figma back again?
Awesome! Would be cool if you did one for Principle too
Can we have access to cloud prototypes that we share, whenwe end the subscription. As this will help to maintain these prototypes in our portfolio
Hello, thank you very much for this video it's really helpful ...😊....my question is can I view the prototype in my phone by just sharing the link ?
how can I save the animation as a gif or little video?
great tuts! thx
thank you for the video, already checking about the figma course, do you have a course on protopie too? that would be cool , thanks!

Hello
After making my video intro animation on figma, how do I export the frames as one whole video
Thanks, can you provide the files so we can follow along?

Great!!! Can we save that as a video then?

@@AppDesignTips thank you 🙂
Protopie is the webflow of mobile app prototyping
If you swipe to scroll sideways manually, does the screen button on top move as well?
Not in this specific example but you can set it up to which I would in this case.
There is a Chain or Scroll trigger that lets you do this
What I hate about proto pie is the shapes are not live shapes. So you can't change the color , add rounded corners etc

But it's much easier to do on Adobe After Effects. I was looking for a great alternatives. And sadly, it is not.
Nice Tutorial Btw!
This video is a bit old. Figma now has smart animation features with prototyping that would likely be the solution you’re looking for :)
