I agree. Grey foxes are great for keeping down rodent numbers. We've raised livestock for many years and have Grey foxes pass through our fields. They never bothered anything (including new born dwarf goats). I'd suspect they'd try for a chicken but never did to ours.
Here in tn we have more greys than reds in my area any way i have a grey ive been trying to trap and seen a really dark red fox haven't seen him a while though
Hey Kyle ,nope I’ve only caught 2 Around here out of the hundreds of reds I’ve caught , some places that’s all they have is gray’s …Guess it Depends on the habitat , the one you just watched I have mounted with a Black squirrel in his mouth …Thanks for Watching
Who said it was funny. If it was unethical game wardens and the state would outlaw it. If you don’t have any knowledge on it or have any background don’t spread misinformation.
Actually modern traps are purposely engineered to not cause pain or suffering so that animals can be released its what allows relocation and selective harvesting . Local wildlife biologist use these same traps to relocate wolves into my state. They are not protected nor endangered in many places they are a absolute pest
When the trapper catches something he will knock it in the head or shoot it in the head .then skin it and sell the fur to a company that will render the fur(remove the fat from the skin and dry it out) then the fur is sewed to dozens of other furs ( it takes a lot of animals to make a coat) then sold to people who want to show how rich they are.
Actually you ever heard of population control also if it was damaging to the species and ecosystem the state and game wardens would outlaw it. If you have no knowledge or background don’t spread misinformation. Thanks.
Many years ago yes fur trapping was a big thing it is not anymore. The vast majority of trapping today is for population control as these predators have been causing chaos with live stock and pets. And due to us humans taking over so much of their territory it forces human animal interactions which have to be handled. If the population is not controlled not only do they cause problems with people, but they eat away to much of their prey species, then they end up dying of starvation or disease. So a trap gives the animal the most humane death that mother nature never could, in turn saving prey species and preserving food for the next generation of predators for future generations of us humans to see and enjoy

When a fox is trapped like this does it break the bones in their paw? I want to catch one to domesticate
Nope it is perfectly fine
This is an ethical trap but you should t catch one as a pet they are wild animals for a reasob

You can't legally hunt foxes
You can in a few states that have population issues.
