    At this point: If you can, go to a store and compare the shapes. With the Razer Viper V2 Pro dropping any day now (hopefully) it really comes down to which shape you like more.

    i kinda regret not getting the RVU Quartz + charging dock since it was available on roughly the same price as the Superlight when i was deciding which to buy. I just adore the look of RVU but i eventually decided to go with the Superlight due to the taller dimension and so far so good, feels very natural for my grip and doesn't seem like i need to change my mouse anytime soon.

    Have mained the GPX Superlight for about 12 months now, and have been trying out the Deathadder V3 Pro (larger, ergo mouse with great buttons, sensor, and weight). I think from this video the GPX is the clear winner due to it's weight. Now, Razer is has come up with the Viper Mini Signature Edition weighing a whooping 49g; if that does not become the GPX killer, idk what will. Albeit a bit expensive, I was able to put my order on Saturday and is arriving this Wednesday. Can't wait to review it if people are interested!!!

    • @capt_barbossa
      @capt_barbossa Год назад +1

      Also, for the math enthusiasts around, help me with this theory I came up with after having aim trained for about 6 months (I think at some point it's easier to see the small differences when it comes to aiming scenarios and the variables that go into it); weight will always be a big determining factor (given sensor, shape, etc. being the same) on what makes a mouse best. My reasoning is mathematical of course; lower weight just means less force needed to switch directions; force is made from accelerating your mouse using your wrist/arm. Since less force is needed, if mass is kept equal, acceleration (made of distance/time) required would be less when it comes to reaching your target (I never thought I would reference F=ma :P, but hey, I hope my Physics prof. is proud lol).

      @Wandbolt Год назад

      What you like more? Can you give me some details please

    • @capt_barbossa
      @capt_barbossa Год назад +1

      @@Wandbolt hey! I play with the Viper mini nowadays since I've been focusing on static/dynamic clicking, but I still play with the death added v3 pro and the GPX. To be honest, each of them has quite good sensor, build quality, weight, and it really depends on your preferences. For example, for smaller hands, I would not recommend the DAV3 pro, but instead the GPX or the Viper mini due to them being smaller. Also, I really liked the side-buttons from the Viper, they are a little less squishy and more clicky than the GPX, which is something I find quite useful for games like Fortnite where you can have build binds on these buttons and build quickly.
      These setups allowed me to get to rank 194 about 6 months in training in 3DAT and rank 165 about 8 months in in the Revosect benchmarks in Aim Lab, (to be honest, what matters the most is to switch around and try different things every few runs):
      For speedy games (Fortnite, Splitgate, Apex) and most aim scenarios (tracking, switching), I use the Artisan Raiden Mid or when I feel I want a bit better control the Artisan Zero Mid pads, paired with the DAV3 pro or the GPX and superglide glass skates and highish sens (25cm-35 cm/360).
      For tactical shooting (CS, Valo) and static/dynamic clicking, I use these two pads as well but for mouse I stick to the Viper Mini sig. edition with PTFE skates and lower sens (35-50+ cm/360).
      For both, I sometimes use an arm sleeve, but I almost always use a wrist rest which makes things stable across the board (Carpio G2.0).
      Feel free to pass by and check some of my aiming videos dude! If you're looking to break into aim training I would be glad to help you out.

I mostly play fps games and I noticed that this mouse actually helps me rank up. oh and you should also buy the Logitech powerplay with this mouse, like i never had to charge and put the cable on this mouse. Regarding the latency there's no difference with dongle or powerplay, i personally ask Logitech customer service before buying the powerplay and they said that there is no latency difference.

    my model O wireless Left Click stopped working and I knew i waSnt gonna get another with that being the no.1 reason people downvote it on review pages
    ;an otherwise brilliant mouse, ruined.
    So I was shopping and found both the RVU+Dock & the GPro Superlight (Shroud Edition) for roughly the same price combined, that my Model O had cost me.
    i bought both to try them out and considered that well, if one breaks as easily as the Model O did, I'll at least have a spare.
    over 6months later and I can confidently say they are both INCREDIBLE mice, but I prefer the G Pro's more simplistic feel in my hand.
    a friend of mine just moved so I gifted him the RVU+Dock as a housewarming gift and he's in love with it now, his first wireless part of his setup.
    Just thought I'd share my satisfaction with both of these mice and also to put a word out about the "not-so-Glorious" Model O Wireless, that didn't even survive 4 months of basic use before it had the same issue everyone else seems to complain about.
    If you pickup either of these mice, you'll struggle to be disappointed

    I switched to the Viper Ultimate from the Logitech G Pro X Superlight. I believe the Viper Ultimate is better. As a someone who has own both of viper ultimate and superlight that have been in heavy use, I can say few things from both sides
    Viper ultimate
    Pros:
    - Nice mouse for fingertip users
    - Pretty good side grips but would switch to 3rd party
    - Okay side buttons
    - No double clicking ( yet after almost 2 years of usage at 8+ h daily usage )
    - Solid battery life
    Cons:
    - M1 & M2 will come loose and hence harder to have a fingertip grip
    - Horrible mouse feet
    - Weird coating that doesn't last long
    - Mouse wheel is little okay but could be a lot better
    - After some time you need to start fiddling with the mouse position in charge dock cause the 2 little nobs start to move from their place hence not charging your mouse
    - Razer software could be a lot simple or have an option to toggle to be
    Superlight
    Pros:
    - Neutral shape favors all grip styles
    - Very light M1 & M2 clicks compared to Viper ultimate
    - Solid build design and coating ( at least in white version ) is still there
    - Mushy feeling but easy to access side buttons
    - Amazing scroll wheel
    - Easy and simple software
    - Has a better battery life then Viper ultimate ( even without rgb )
    Cons:
    - Not the best out of the box for fingertip users ( would highly recommend to get grip tape )
    - Mouse feet wears off after a month and even at new they suck
    - Started double clicking after 14 months of usage

    I own both of these. The viper I have had for a few weeks and the superlight have been my main for the past six months. They both are really good. but ATM I am really digging the shape of the viper. The reason I changed was that after really long sessions (10+ hours) I had this spot in my hand that got really fatigued. So far I have not experienced that with the viper. The downside OFC is I hate synapse. but these days you can thankfully just set up the mouse like you want and uninstall the damn thing. I used the superlight with the powerplay mouse mat and that was the other reason for my change. The mat is ok but the "frame" sometimes pinches the wrist. and I have a cable extra on my table to feed power to the mat maeking my setup look less clean that the razer dock. Great video I agree with most of what you said.

    all I really want is a viper mini ultimate.. that would be the dream. unfortunately both the VU and LGP Superlight are on the large side for me with 16cm x 8cm hands... I find the VU way easier to grip though and it's what I use now, in comparison the GPW shape feels like I'm holding a sphere. It just feels way bigger even though they have similar measurements. The flatter back of the VU is way more comfortable for a fingertip grip imo bc I can move the mouse up and down with my hand by "scrunching" my fingers to make medium to micro vertical adjustments whereas on the GPW it's too bulbous and round in the back so my palm just hits it. Just wanted to add my opinion as a woman who has super small hands, it's hard to find a premium mouse that's small. Most companies just make their cheaper mice small

      @x.kitsune 2 года назад

      @@gabriel-vf9xj yea it all depends how you hold your mouse too, if you use a palm grip you probably want a mouse with a bigger hump towards the back. I also tried the newer logitech g303 shroud edition but unfortunately they made it a few millimeters larger than the original and this made it feel way too wide for me. The original was a great size for me, albeit the shape isn't for everyone, but it's pretty heavy and outdated now. and the new wireless shroud g303 has amazing trigger feel but just feels way too wide now..
      I really wish that logitech stayed with the original wired g pro shape for the wireless g pro and superlight.. but instead they made that into the g305 which is heavy for the size. but the size might be better if you dont mind batteries and a heavier wireless mouse

    I just can't understand how a Superlight costs $130 and yet still has Omron switches and crappy side buttons. I would definitely have one if they had Kailhs. Maybe I should just mod one, but it seems like a lot of work to do something to upgrade a top tier mouse.

    Where’s the Finalmouse Starlight-12 Phantom small in all of this that’s the best mouse on the planet perfect size to claw and it’s only gonna get better when the Finalmouse x Tenz mouse releases with a huge ass hump on the back for the mouse to rest comfortably in the back of your palm while claw gripping making it easier to pick up the mouse and move it left and right and set it back down. On top of that it’s the lightest mouse on the market feeling like a. Feather in your hand feeling like you’re just aiming with your hand and there’s no mouse in your hand and it lasts for 160 hours and has the best wireless tech implemented in to the mouse ever and it has the best shape on the planet while the Tez edition Finalmouse starlight-12 will be 💯 % better with the jumó on the back of the mouse instead of the middle and the feel are S tier never have to replace them period it’s exactly like hyperglides just as stock feet and don’t have to buy them and spend over $30+ on them along with shipping and tax and the feel are so FUCKEN fast and smooth they are utterly perfect even better than Lethal Glass Skates. To top this all off it has Khail GM 8.0 switches which are the best feeling and sounding switches on the market. This mouse doesn’t compromise anywhere what so ever!!!!!!!!!! The Finalmouse Starlight-12 phantom small is the only mouse you’ll need as it’s endgame for 💯 % of people until Finalmouse drops a new mouse with a better shape like the Tenz edition along with longer battery life higher than 160 hours and making it lighter than 42g more like 1g if ever possible!!!!!!!!!!

    Razer Viper Ultimate:
    + Shape & Grip
    G Pro Superlight:
    - Shape & Grip (not good to get a decent grip for a longer period, leading to a change of grip all the time, which makes it more inconsistent)
    + Weight
    If i would by any of these again. I would surely not take G Pro ever again, cause the grip is very important if youre not only casual gaming.

    I have both mice in black. I prefer the Logitech G Pro X Superlight, better software, and better battery life. I have it paired with the powerplay charging mousepad (unlimited wireless power). What kills it for me on the Razer is: Razer software is trash, issues with W10 booting and starting the app itself is so sluggish and inconsistent (the app doesn't even start). Also the Razer dock is so clunky to consistently dock the mouse. Razer claims 70 hours, after 20 hours the mouse is under 20%, dead within 30-35 hours of use. The only edge I give to the Razer is RGB, and style. The Razer mouse itself works great, but the dock, app and battery life are huge turn-offs for me.

    There are things these review videos don't show unfortunately like how a mouse holds up after a few years. As a Razer Viper Ultimate user for more than 3 years, I can say that this mouse is very problematic. The side buttons sometimes stop working, the middle button is double-clicking 1/4 of the time, the charging dock doesn't charge the mouse sometimes because of its bad design, the side grip materials on both sides are worn out and the mouse looks pretty bad now. There are weird "solutions" most of the time like hitting the mouse to a surface to unclog the dust inside the mouse or pressing hard on the space below the side buttons to make them work again or using an earpick to clean the pins on the charging dock and on the mouse, etc. but it's just not worth the cost, effort, and discomfort... These problems started happening after 6 months of use by the way and they just kept getting worse and worse.

    Used superlight for over a year (im top 0.2% Kovaaks), but previously owned the glorious model o. I never really liked the ''round'' size and slippery feeling of the Logitech. Bought the viper v2 pro 2 days ago and it is absolutely so much better. The build is a bit more flat which allows me to relax my hand more, the scrollwheel is way more consistent and in a better position. Sidebuttons are not even close and a winner for the viper again. Also LMB and RMB feel more 'snappy' and have a concave shape so your grip stays the same. PS: also attached superglides v2 and i play on a glorious 3xl.
