I made it through and I am 74 years old with grandchildren and great-grandchildren I worked hard all my life. and believed that my Heavenly Father would help me. I do not believe in the prosperity gospel. . If some of these million heir preachers would help the poor there would no one homeless or hungry. Why do they need 2 jets, 3 homes etc. Gee one can only drive one car at a time. I would rather be poor and have Jesus than be rich and have the devil.
2 cor 9: 6-10 context is clearly financial giving and implies money as seed. I agree that giving to get is greedy and idolatrous, but giving with pure motive to advance the kingdom with a cheerful heart is obedience to God word. You have lumped a great man in with false teachers. Although he may have taught a false doctrine, he is far from being a false teacher. Consider your own position of being a partial cessationist, this in itself is false teaching. Men could do lengthy scholarly videos exposing your denail of the present activity of the gifts of the Holy Spirit .

I used to listen to him and when he said, the "Jews don't need the Gospel because they are Jews I began to doubts his teachings and stopped listening to him.

He says it would negatively affect his relationships with Orthodox Jews and he thinks they are more important. 🤷🏻♀️ For those who don’t know, messianic Jews believe and accept Jesus as the messiah, but still hold to Jewish beliefs and celebrations such as Sukkot, Hanukkah, Yom Kippur, Passover, etc. Some believe in keeping Kosher, some don’t. I myself was raised in such a household but I now am a Reformed Presbyterian. (5 point Calvinist, Post Mill, Theonomic, & Exclusive Psalmist, if curious 🙂)

I remember a year ago, or so, listening to a recorded sermon by him. His doctrine on Israel, that they are not in need of Jesus, led me away from further teachings by him.
I have listened to him for years, and I've purchased so many of his teachings as well. Ever since I really started reading my Bible and drawing closer to the Lord, I haven't had a desire to watch or listen to him. Maybe this is why? It's possible God was drawing me away from the deception and I didn't realize until now. Thanks for the video!

I’m convinced that the current COVID-19 is waking up true Christians and at the same time exposing false teachers. When I attended undergrad school years ago, my professor for one of my classes was also a pastor. He believed there would come a day when prosperity gospel churches would implode. Maybe that time has come. I would appreciate your prayers that the Lord would guide my wife and me to a new church, a good Bible-believing one as soon as COVID-19 ends and we’re able to fellowship again in a public setting.
My brother went to his church back in 88 I knew something was wrong with him from TBN but after how my brother talk about his church I knew his teachings were a little suspect. I listened to Pastor John Hagge for years. Just recently I read several reports about him having an affair with a member of his congregation while married to his first wife of whom he had 2 children with. He divorced her in 1975 and married the woman he was having the affair with. He apologized to his congregation and started another church soon after. He should have stepped down as pastor and never preached again. I have heard several sermons in which he preaches against divorce and infidelity and breaking marriage vows, yet he did all of those things. I was floored when I found out about him. I urge everyone to research this. A pastor is to live a life beyond reproach. He violated his oath to God and should never have preached again. He also has allowed Joel Osteen to preach at Cornerstone.

I listened to John Hagee for several years and stopped since his son now mainly preaches. Thank you for enlightening me. So many false teachers. It can be disheartening.
I pierced one of my ears and wore a gold hoop. At the time it was a symbol of rebellion. I removed it when I became a Christian. Later, on reading about Israel's servants, they were to be released every jubilee but if they wanted to stay with their masters, they were to have an ear pierced with an awl against a doorpost. One theologian said that some of them would wear an earring in that ear. I liked that, so I put my earring back in as a symbol of submission to my 'master' who is Christ. One morning, while watching Hagee, in his usual harsh manner he pointed at the camera and shouted, "Sir, if you wear an earring in your ear, you are effeminate and a disgrace." I wrote to his ministry and told him off for being so judgmental, and for having no idea why I would wear one. I have since removed it as I no longer care for it, bu it finished me with listening to Hagee.
I grew up hearing about him and his love for Israel but never had occasion to listen to him or read his works until I was piqued by his his recent book on the four or five Blood Moons we had in one year a few years ago (maybe 2015?). Very soon after reading it, I was shocked at how extra-biblical his ideas and arguments were. That book went right into the trash bin and I knew to avoid his teachings from that point on.

I have to share my testimony concerning my personal experience with JH. My husband and I were listening to him in 2012/13. At the time, he seemed okay and we didn't know any better. Well, one day he was teaching that it's always God's will to heal and that there wasn't any reason not to be for the believer. I've lived with chronic back pain since 2010. Something didn't sound right and I wrote in. He answered my letter on air. He did it at the end of his show. Anyway, he basically said that I wasn't healed because there must be some secret sin in my life. Well, by God's providence, my brother called that same day and said that he had heard Justin Peters and I should go look him up on RUclips. Changed my life. I heard things I never heard before. It was a like a light went on. I haven't listened to JH since. Just had to share that. God bless you Polite Leader.
His insistence that healing is for all and that it is our own fault if we are not healed is the very issue that caused me to question JH and stop listening to him.

Don't judge before you listen. There is no perfect leader in the world. He preaches the gospel with clarity and authority. He is a well respected leader. I advise you to listen to his teaching before you judge.
A huge church in and of itself is not a bad thing. Acts 4:4 speaks about 5000 being added to the first church in ONE day. But, if the doctrine is bad, even a small church is bad. Yours in Christ, Eric

ACTS is talking about how many jews believed the truth and turned to christ from jerusalem - a part of the 1st church that had no building. i have not heard of a single mega church that isnt wildly compromised in doctrine.

Agreed. Mr. Hagee started down a slippery slope in the late 90s and early 2000s. It's sad when any preacher is more focused on selling books and videos to support himself and family that they compromise Scripture with little tweaks of personal interpretation. I vote to stick to actual Scripture and not receive anyone's opinion about it. I left a church after 35 years because it turned into what appeared to be a family business. I had a hard time with that. Good video.
The first and most important red flag is that he lost his first church and first wife when he had a mistress on the side. He then married his mistress and started the church he and his son currently pastor.

When the disciples preached the gospel to the Jews were they making small talk? All have fallenshort, the law condemns us, and all must rely on the finished works of Christ for salvation.
The Tribulation will be a time when God deals with the Jews and their unbelief.......many will come to Christ during that time, however, both Christians and Jews. The Jews will weep when Christ is revealed as the Messiah.

It continues to amaze me how people such as Hagee can spend so much time in ministry sharing their version of the Gospel and yet miss even the most elementary Scriptures describing who Jesus is, what He said of Himself and what He accomplished in His death, resurrection and ascension! The Gospel is simple, always was and always will be...for the Jews and Gentiles alike!!

If you are born again Christian, you don't have sin but because you are still alive on this earth wearing a corruptible body you can have faults. We have an advocate who is forever standing in for us. John Hagee is just enriching himself in full knowledge of what he is doing. He should repent like Benni Hinn and keep to it. His teaching is driven by instilling fear to people. God is the good God who loves all man. He is not a transactional God.

John Hagee said during one of his sermons that your healing depends on how much you tithe. If you are very sick the deeper your hands in your pocket to give to Jesus's Church. From that day I see him as a false preacher.
Good video. I myself am in the middle of Despensationalism and New Covenant Theology. I believe the Church is filled with people from all nations, races, tongues. But I also believe God will give Israel their new king, Jesus Christ, and they will be saved through him. Once again, amazing video. Great commentary, and beautiful theology.

Should anyone preach “another gospel” run away! I am sure there’s many other gospels being preached at the moment, it’s to be expected we are in the last days! The Lord’s Prayer, given by Christ Himself says “give us this day our daily bread” so, to me, this means that we are trusting God for our daily necessities such as bread, water, clothing and hopefully a place to sleep. 🙏🙏🙏
I must admit that I'm a John Hagee follower. I enjoy his preaching very much. However, I also agree with you on some of the points you've made. Now as for me turning away from him because of some of his teaching I don't agreed with is not something I'm willing to do. Overall his teaching is very biblical and in line with the truth of Gods word. Now that that's been said, I also wanted to point out that there is no perfect pastor. I've watched a great deal of sermons over the years and every now and then I've gotten taken back by some of their comments or teachings. The bible tells us to pray for spiritual discernment because the Devil comes in all different disguise so we need to be vigilant. Now as for preachers like Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer, Creflo Dollar, Kenneth Copeland, Paula White etc etc, that's a whole other story.. Peace and Love..

I have John Hagee preach so many times and I'm very blessed by it. I haven't read or seen him say any of what you have just said. As for the prosperity gospel, men please check your bible, The patriarchs were blessed beyond measure, Job was blessed, so David and his son Solomon, as for declaring the blessing over the life of someone I believe in it. The lesser is blessed of the greater. Maybe you should pastor a congregation and I would like to see how you would do and what you would preach
I like Pastor H as well, and my support of Israel is based on history, politics and scripture. Travel there and you will see a thriving democracy and freedom that you will be hard pressed to find in any other country in the region. Not perfect but worthy of our support. I respect polite leader, but I don’t place Haggee in the same category of the other charlatans.

I am truly blessed to have come across your channel, I was saved by the grace of our LORD in December 2017, and one of the struggles that I have and still struggle with to this day, is being prideful and judgemental in discernment, which most times leads to me sharing my own view on what i think is biblical, which usually ends up with me repenting, cause i don't realise till later when I'm alone of what I've done. Since I've been following your channel, nearly one year now, I have never herd you share your own view, but have always discerned using the inspired God breathed and only sufficient and infallible word of our triune God, the one and only living God, and I wanted to say thank you for that. I think one thing Justin Peters said about him provides a clue and that is Hagee has completely sold out to the politics of his country. Our theology should determine our politics, not the other way around.

John used to faithfully and unapologetically preach the truth. But, somewhere along the way he strayed from it and has gotten messed up. I don't know what happened but, he used to be one of my favorite preachers. God holds pastors doubly accountable for how they preach and lead their flocks(congratulations). He will face God one day and it ain't gonna be pretty. 😢😢😢😢
Hello PL. Well done. When I was a new Christian I searched for someone that could give me Biblical understanding, (this was well over 30 years ago). Back then, he was one of my favorites before I knew any better. I quickly learned he was just as much a phony as all the others were. He did help me understand that no matter how correct someone can appear, they can be a wolf in sheep's clothing. And he certainty is. It helped me back then to understand how absolutely apostate the church was, even back then. I searched high and low for someone that actually understood the Bible. But there was no one, (at least that could be found on TV or locally). Now, with the internet and youtube, etc. it is still almost impossible to find anyone that actually understands the truth of the Bible. There is almost nothing but deception out there just like back then, but of course it is much worse now.. I thank God for the few like you, James White, Jeff Durbin, etc. that have at least some Biblical understanding. As I have said before, I am always amazed how clearly someone (like you/and them) can see some things, but then not see others that appear to be just as clear. I guess God opens spiritual eyes on his schedule, not ours. Nevertheless, like you, I never stop trying.. Please keep going with this kind of stuff. It is so important that people that follow these kinds of guys hear the truth about them. We don't need to look at all those lost ones outside the church when the inside of the church is already filled with deception that needs exposing.

Do prosperity teachers or false teachers even realize what they are teaching is not biblically sound? Do they know they are potentially sinning when leading others away from the truth? Or do they think they are doing good in God's eyes? What would be their motive, money I suppose?
Is is so heartbreaking to share the Gospel - Jesus alone and then need to warn folks of the vipers that are out there. I too sat in that seat of ..how do I know which church, which pastor, where do I go? It was only years later listening to them online and doing Precepts Bible study did I learn as God gave me discernment....but oh how we need to pray for the new believers to know Gods Word- Truth. As A Freewill Baptist I'd say we're more Amil then anything we think that Christ will come and we'll go to Heaven or Hell that's it no Mill no new Heaven or New Earth and that Revelations is all Spiritual. I've stepped back from this and am now studying all of the endtime positions but am not in a hurry to come down on one side or other. John Hagee is huge around here more then Billy Graham and Rev Billy lived within 50 miles from my County.
Hey polite leader, great video. I was wondering what are your thoughts on sorcery as discussed in Revelations. Some say that pharmakeia is the greek word for sorcery, which is where we get the word pharmacy. I have heard that this is all prescriptions, some say its antidepressants and some say its illegal street drugs. What are your thoughts on this? Thank you in advance.
The Greek term "pharmakeia" can mean administering drugs. However, in a 1st century context, it would primarily have involved using drugs in the midst of practicing sorcery and casting spells, sometimes to help one encounter the deity in physical form. I suppose an application could be made to include a prohibition for Christians in relation to street drugs. Extending it to Tylenol, aspirin and other OTC's would be a stretch. I would say the same would probably hold true for prescription drugs as well. It would probably be better to begin with the biblical view on alcoholism and work your way from there if you wanted to do a fair application to anti-depressants and the like.

You don't judge a sermon based on it be moving or inspiring. That's how people get deceived and manipulated with emotion. Judge a sermon based on whether it's biblical or not.
I appreciate the point about de-creation language. This makes plenty of sense. One prominent sabbath keeping church teaches that these scriptures refer to a period of darkness and a meteor shower in New England in the 1800's. Hi brother, when you have time, could you do some analysis on David Pawson and Rick Warren? I have some serious doubt that the former has strange and false teaching while the latter is mostly prosperity gospel focused (I went through his "purpose driven life" previously in a church study group. It felt nothing but merely a self-motivation book with some Scriptures added to it)... looking forward to your new content.

His wife brought it on her visit, but since her visit we have not heard from her or their son. My niece lives with her mom. She's been ill since diagnosed with cancer. Watching this in Nov. 2022...have been watching J. Hagee off and on TV since the mid-90s....and some things he said had me shaking my head in puzzlement although i admired his utter conviction...this video confirms what i had suspected--- and underscores the importance of examining closely all that preach on TV and the Internet.
Wow very informative video and definitely worth watching a second time. Even though I have been very familiar with Mr. Hagee name and have listen to him several occasions but I have never quite felt led to listen to an entire message of his. Perhaps it was Holy Spirit warning to me no to get caught up in the prosperity teaching error. The same goes for many others well known in the 80s and 90s. I would listen to them but there was something that just didn’t click with me.

Hey Ethan! He's certainly not associating with any in the NAR, but what you are most likely referring to was his brief stint with speaking about private revelations and the whole "pirate ship dream" debacle. It was def really bizarre. That's what Wretched and a bunch of our Christian outlets spoke of and were alarmed by. Also he drifts into the whole social justice ordeal a little too far for my liking. Dont get me wrong, I still love him and the truth he has provided my life, but I think we just chalk it up to every leader having "blind spots". Sorry to interrupt your question to PL, but I just remember being really involved with that situation when it originally occurred a while back.

Those were the two ways to talk to people during his time. Now we have many more methods with our current technology. Why are people still restricted to the modes of communication we had 2000 years ago? Publicly accessible teaching can be spoken to publicly. False prophets are worthy of death according to the word of God, it is a very strong offense to others and to God. Christians are called to refute those who teach or follow contrary doctrine or gospels. Paul prayed the Lord would have mercy on those who appeared to have left him or the faith, but had strong words for false teachers. God ordained people to be saved by the preaching of the gospel, not by just praying they get saved. False teachers/prophets need preached to, they need to hear the true words of God. Thank you so much. I am poor and the Lord has never let me or my children go hungry not ever. I made it through and I am 74 years old with grandchildren and great-grandchildren I worked hard all my life. and believed that my Heavenly Father would help me. I do not believe in the prosperity gospel. . If some of these million heir preachers would help the poor there would no one homeless or hungry. Why do they need 2 jets, 3 homes etc. Gee one can only drive one car at a time. I would rather be poor and have Jesus than be rich and have the devil.

I used to listen to him and when he said, the "Jews don't need the Gospel because they are Jews I began to doubts his teachings and stopped listening to him.
Mimi Gutierrez and, he discriminates which group of Jews he helps. He won’t help or associate with messianic Jews. Nor promote messianic Jewish ministries/charities. He says it would negatively affect his relationships with Orthodox Jews and he thinks they are more important. 🤷🏻♀️
For those who don’t know, messianic Jews believe and accept Jesus as the messiah, but still hold to Jewish beliefs and celebrations such as Sukkot, Hanukkah, Yom Kippur, Passover, etc. Some believe in keeping Kosher, some don’t. I myself was raised in such a household but I now am a Reformed Presbyterian. (5 point Calvinist, Post Mill, Theonomic, & Exclusive Psalmist, if curious 🙂)

Ever since I really started reading my Bible and drawing closer to the Lord, I haven't had a desire to watch or listen to him. Maybe this is why? I’m convinced that the current COVID-19 is waking up true Christians and at the same time exposing false teachers. When I attended undergrad school years ago, my professor for one of my classes was also a pastor. He believed there would come a day when prosperity gospel churches would implode. Maybe that time has come. I would appreciate your prayers that the Lord would guide my wife and me to a new church, a good Bible-believing one as soon as COVID-19 ends and we’re able to fellowship again in a public setting.

I listened to Pastor John Hagge for years. Just recently I read several reports about him having an affair with a member of his congregation while married to his first wife of whom he had 2 children with. He divorced her in 1975 and married the woman he was having the affair with. He apologized to his congregation and started another church soon after. He should have stepped down as pastor and never preached again. I have heard several sermons in which he preaches against divorce and infidelity and breaking marriage vows, yet he did all of those things. I was floored when I found out about him. I urge everyone to research this. A pastor is to live a life beyond reproach. He violated his oath to God and should never have preached again. He also has allowed Joel Osteen to preach at Cornerstone.

I pierced one of my ears and wore a gold hoop. At the time it was a symbol of rebellion. I removed it when I became a Christian. Later, on reading about Israel's servants, they were to be released every jubilee but if they wanted to stay with their masters, they were to have an ear pierced with an awl against a doorpost. One theologian said that some of them would wear an earring in that ear. I liked that, so I put my earring back in as a symbol of submission to my 'master' who is Christ.
One morning, while watching Hagee, in his usual harsh manner he pointed at the camera and shouted, "Sir, if you wear an earring in your ear, you are effeminate and a disgrace." I wrote to his ministry and told him off for being so judgmental, and for having no idea why I would wear one. I have since removed it as I no longer care for it, bu it finished me with listening to Hagee.
I grew up hearing about him and his love for Israel but never had occasion to listen to him or read his works until I was piqued by his his recent book on the four or five Blood Moons we had in one year a few years ago (maybe 2015?). Very soon after reading it, I was shocked at how extra-biblical his ideas and arguments were. That book went right into the trash bin and I knew to avoid his teachings from that point on.

I have to share my testimony concerning my personal experience with JH. My husband and I were listening to him in 2012/13. At the time, he seemed okay and we didn't know any better. Well, one day he was teaching that it's always God's will to heal and that there wasn't any reason not to be for the believer. I've lived with chronic back pain since 2010. Something didn't sound right and I wrote in. He answered my letter on air. He did it at the end of his show. Anyway, he basically said that I wasn't healed because there must be some secret sin in my life. Well, by God's providence, my brother called that same day and said that he had heard Justin Peters and I should go look him up on RUclips. Changed my life. I heard things I never heard before. It was a like a light went on. I haven't listened to JH since. Just had to share that. God bless you Polite Leader.

Don't judge before you listen. There is no perfect leader in the world. He preaches the gospel with clarity and authority. He is a well respected leader. I advise you to listen to his teaching before you judge.
A huge church in and of itself is not a bad thing. Acts 4:4 speaks about 5000 being added to the first church in ONE day. But, if the doctrine is bad, even a small church is bad.

ACTS is talking about how many jews believed the truth and turned to christ from jerusalem - a part of the 1st church that had no building. i have not heard of a single mega church that isnt wildly compromised in doctrine.

Agreed. Mr. Hagee started down a slippery slope in the late 90s and early 2000s. It's sad when any preacher is more focused on selling books and videos to support himself and family that they compromise Scripture with little tweaks of personal interpretation.
I vote to stick to actual Scripture and not receive anyone's opinion about it.
I left a church after 35 years because it turned into what appeared to be a family business. I had a hard time with that.

The first and most important red flag is that he lost his first church and first wife when he had a mistress on the side. He then married his mistress and started the church he and his son currently pastor.

When the disciples preached the gospel to the Jews were they making small talk?
All have fallenshort, the law condemns us, and all must rely on the finished works of Christ for salvation.
The Tribulation will be a time when God deals with the Jews and their unbelief.......many will come to Christ during that time, however, both Christians and Jews. The Jews will weep when Christ is revealed as the Messiah.

It continues to amaze me how people such as Hagee can spend so much time in ministry sharing their version of the Gospel and yet miss even the most elementary Scriptures describing who Jesus is, what He said of Himself and what He accomplished in His death, resurrection and ascension! Hagee divorced his wife with whon had children and married his mistres who was also attending their church, she is Diana and his current wife.
Should anyone preach “another gospel” run away! I am sure there’s many other gospels being preached at the moment, it’s to be expected we are in the last days! The Lord’s Prayer, given by Christ Himself says “give us this day our daily bread” so, to me, this means that we are trusting God for our daily necessities such as bread, water, clothing and hopefully a place to sleep. 🙏🙏🙏
I must admit that I'm a John Hagee follower. I enjoy his preaching very much. However, I also agree with you on some of the points you've made. Now as for me turning away from him because of some of his teaching I don't agreed with is not something I'm willing to do. Overall his teaching is very biblical and in line with the truth of Gods word. Now that that's been said, I also wanted to point out that there is no perfect pastor. I've watched a great deal of sermons over the years and every now and then I've gotten taken back by some of their comments or teachings. The bible tells us to pray for spiritual discernment because the Devil comes in all different disguise so we need to be vigilant. Now as for preachers like Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer, Creflo Dollar, Kenneth Copeland, Paula White etc etc, that's a whole other story.. Peace and Love..

I have John Hagee preach so many times and I'm very blessed by it. I haven't read or seen him say any of what you have just said. As for the prosperity gospel, men please check your bible, The patriarchs were blessed beyond measure, Job was blessed, so David and his son Solomon, as for declaring the blessing over the life of someone I believe in it. The lesser is blessed of the greater. Maybe you should pastor a congregation and I would like to see how you would do and what you would preach

I am truly blessed to have come across your channel, I was saved by the grace of our LORD in December 2017, and one of the struggles that I have and still struggle with to this day, is being prideful and judgemental in discernment, which most times leads to me sharing my own view on what i think is biblical, which usually ends up with me repenting, cause i don't realise till later when I'm alone of what I've done. Hello PL. Well done. When I was a new Christian I searched for someone that could give me Biblical understanding, (this was well over 30 years ago). Back then, he was one of my favorites before I knew any better. I quickly learned he was just as much a phony as all the others were. He did help me understand that no matter how correct someone can appear, they can be a wolf in sheep's clothing. And he certainty is. It helped me back then to understand how absolutely apostate the church was, even back then. I searched high and low for someone that actually understood the Bible. But there was no one, (at least that could be found on TV or locally).
Now, with the internet and youtube, etc. it is still almost impossible to find anyone that actually understands the truth of the Bible. There is almost nothing but deception out there just like back then, but of course it is much worse now.. I thank God for the few like you, James White, Jeff Durbin, etc. that have at least some Biblical understanding. As I have said before, I am always amazed how clearly someone (like you/and them) can see some things, but then not see others that appear to be just as clear. I guess God opens spiritual eyes on his schedule, not ours. Nevertheless, like you, I never stop trying..
Please keep going with this kind of stuff. It is so important that people that follow these kinds of guys hear the truth about them. We don't need to look at all those lost ones outside the church when the inside of the church is already filled with deception that needs exposing.

Is is so heartbreaking to share the Gospel - Jesus alone and then need to warn folks of the vipers that are out there. I too sat in that seat of ..how do I know which church, which pastor, where do I go? It was only years later listening to them online and doing Precepts Bible study did I learn as God gave me discernment....but oh how we need to pray for the new believers to know Gods Word- Truth.

As A Freewill Baptist I'd say we're more Amil then anything we think that Christ will come and we'll go to Heaven or Hell that's it no Mill no new Heaven or New Earth and that Revelations is all Spiritual. I've stepped back from this and am now studying all of the endtime positions but am not in a hurry to come down on one side or other. John Hagee is huge around here more then Billy Graham and Rev Billy lived within 50 miles from my County.

Hey polite leader, great video. I was wondering what are your thoughts on sorcery as discussed in Revelations. Some say that pharmakeia is the greek word for sorcery, which is where we get the word pharmacy. I have heard that this is all prescriptions, some say its antidepressants and some say its illegal street drugs. What are your thoughts on this? Thank you in advance.
The Greek term "pharmakeia" can mean administering drugs. However, in a 1st century context, it would primarily have involved using drugs in the midst of practicing sorcery and casting spells, sometimes to help one encounter the deity in physical form. I suppose an application could be made to include a prohibition for Christians in relation to street drugs. Extending it to Tylenol, aspirin and other OTC's would be a stretch. I would say the same would probably hold true for prescription drugs as well. It would probably be better to begin with the biblical view on alcoholism and work your way from there if you wanted to do a fair application to anti-depressants and the like.

One prominent sabbath keeping church teaches that these scriptures refer to a period of darkness and a meteor shower in New England in the 1800's. Hi brother, when you have time, could you do some analysis on David Pawson and Rick Warren? I have some serious doubt that the former has strange and false teaching while the latter is mostly prosperity gospel focused (I went through his "purpose driven life" previously in a church study group. It felt nothing but merely a self-motivation book with some Scriptures added to it)... looking forward to your new content.
I listened to Dave Pawson extensively for years. He's a good teacher and was a genuine believer. I would need to study Warren more in depth.

Watching this in Nov. 2022...have been watching J. Hagee off and on TV since the mid-90s....and some things he said had me shaking my head in puzzlement although i admired his utter conviction...this video confirms what i had suspected--- and underscores the importance of examining closely all that preach on TV and the Internet.
Wow very informative video and definitely worth watching a second time. Even though I have been very familiar with Mr. Hagee name and have listen to him several occasions but I have never quite felt led to listen to an entire message of his. Perhaps it was Holy Spirit warning to me no to get caught up in the prosperity teaching error. The same goes for many others well known in the 80s and 90s. I would listen to them but there was something that just didn’t click with me.

It was def really bizarre. That's what Wretched and a bunch of our Christian outlets spoke of and were alarmed by.

Dont get me wrong, I still love him and the truth he has provided my life, but I think we just chalk it up to every leader having "blind spots".

Those were the two ways to talk to people during his time. Now we have many more methods with our current technology. False prophets are worthy of death according to the word of God, it is a very strong offense to others and to God. God ordained people to be saved by the preaching of the gospel, not by just praying they get saved. False teachers/prophets need preached to, they need to hear the true words of God.
