If you want to secure yourself some property deals you need to know about auctions!
Did you know that as soon as that gavel goes down contracts are exchanged.
Signing takes place shortly after you submit your winning bid and therefore it is crucial that you have everything prepared before the auction night!

You need to find yourself a trusted solicitor and get them involved as soon as possible - professional advice is a must.
Each property up for sale at auction will have a legal pack. Between 10-250 pages long this can be downloaded off of the internet and will need to be checked by a solicitor. Legal packs can be hard to understand and whilst the auctioneers are very knowledgeable they are not legally trained.
Susannah highlights the importance of having a lawyer on hand, who is avaliable for a quick phone call on the night. There may be some last minute notices which may be worth checking with your solicitor before placing your bid.
