I'm thinking that she may have turned him in for the reward money. I have no idea of how her finances were before the escape, obviously, but maybe she was suffering hard times and could [not] pass up the opportunity to live a better life with the reward money.

He shot a little girl that was 1 yrs old it was him and three other guys doing a drive by shooting and the mom was outside with her little girl and other neighbors on Christmas Day letting the neighborhood kids play with their Christmas Toys and the little one yr old got killed

I, too, would like to know!
I know about the shortage of prison guards all over the US but these kind of escapes during especially health checks outside there should at least be 3 guards present . But I have still not come`d to terms why these 2 guards did not do anything to stop this man. They had guns for heavens sake !!! And the black box set of handcuffs would have made his movements even harder when it comes to speed while entering that wooded area. Thats just beyond me.
I guess if you can convince someone to abandon their kids you might could bribe a guard or something. Maybe. Not accusing anyone

Its really not that difficult a task to get out of regular handcuffs, but the black box set of handcuffs is quite another thing.
Her family was really riding for her the fact that he did that to a one year-old baby a kid. Just. He needs to be locked down forever and she needs to go do her time too.

I think it was a drive by killing. The little girl was outside, in her yard, playing with her new Christmas toys, when she was shot. Idk if he knew her.
I would think they don’t want to give out names as to what citizens may have turned him in whether it family or whomever for safety reasons. That puts a target on them and puts them at risk for harm. I certainly would want to remain anonymous if I turned someone in.

There are cameras everywhere they comunicated while he was in prison ,he had New Balance tennis shoes on. There is no way he could have escaped with a tracking device on without those 2 gaurds not being envolved too!
I live in alamance county and I was literally two streets down from the hospital taking my dog to a vet appointment 25 min after he escaped. Cops were swarming the whole area. Glad he was caught!

I think maybe the girlfriend left hotel & then called him into the tip line for reward & try to say he showed up threating her & she had to take him to a hotel! But was able to leave at some point after she got him in there! But picked that money over him!! 🤷🏻♀️ because the LE said day one they checked his girlfriends house!! He wasn’t there!!
