Swapping out the subject and keeping the effect stack is something that is very easy to do in Substance Designer (now an Adobe product). That whole software is meant to work procedurally and non-destructive and a lot of the tools, like gradient map for example, will also be recognizable for Photoshop users.

When l met this guy l was poor in designing but now ,i am one of the best .To be honest this guy is the best ever RUclipsr and in the first place l thought he invented Photoshop 😂
Funny I have the same OCD about the mask thing. There is a setting to not apply masks as default. I think only the filter mask still is still a default you can’t change. It’s in the layer panel settings and the adjustment layer settings I believe.
