Brady is one of the greatest gems on RUclips. It’s truly rare to see a channel that will almost ALWAYS teach you something new at such a high level of work. Absolutely INVALUABLE.

Brady you're honestly one of the BEST channels on RUclips.
You're exactly the archetype of what people imagined when they created the internet.
High quality content shared by skilled people with a good attitude for free.
    Love it, man.

Swapping out the subject and keeping the effect stack is something that is very easy to do in Substance Designer (now an Adobe product). That whole software is meant to work procedurally and non-destructive and a lot of the tools, like gradient map for example, will also be recognizable for Photoshop users.

Pre-Revolutionary Period (1900-1917): This period was characterized by the emergence of modernist art movements such as Art Nouveau and the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. Graphic design during this period was heavily influenced by Western European styles and often focused on decorative elements.
Constructivism (1917-1930s): Following the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917, a new art movement emerged that rejected traditional forms and embraced industrialization and technology. Known as Constructivism, it emphasized geometric shapes, bold typography, and functional design that reflected the needs of a modern society.
The Great Patriotic War (1941-1945): During World War II, Soviet graphic design was heavily influenced by propaganda and focused on promoting patriotism, solidarity, and the war effort. Posters, in particular, were widely used to inspire morale and support for the Soviet cause.
Post-War Period (1950s-1960s): In the aftermath of World War II, the Soviet Union experienced a period of relative stability and prosperity. Graphic design during this time reflected this optimism, with a focus on bright colors, bold typography, and a more relaxed aesthetic.
Soviet Realism (1960s-1980s): Beginning in the 1960s, the Soviet government promoted a new form of art called Socialist Realism, which was characterized by realistic depictions of Soviet life and culture. Graphic design during this period was often used to promote government policies and social programs.
Perestroika (1980s-1991): In the 1980s, Soviet society began to experience significant political and economic changes as part of the policy of Perestroika. This period saw a new wave of artistic experimentation and innovation in graphic design, as designers embraced new technologies and explored new forms of expression.

Funny I have the same OCD about the mask thing.
There is a setting to not apply masks as default. I think only the filter mask still is still a default you can’t change.
It’s in the layer panel settings and the adjustment layer settings I believe.
