Jesus brought those two together and they sing to us,,,what a great wonderful gift 🎁 ❤ 😍
These men ruled the music charts with an iron fist 40 years ago! Legends!
Well said
I’ve been a closeted airhead since the 80s, but I finally came out and took my wife to see these guys 2 years ago. Excellent concert!
Yeah. I'm an Airhead. I've loved these guys for a long long time.
I was introduced to Air Supply in 1985 at age 6, and from that point I was a big fan. Nobody my age liked them, but I didn't care. I think they didn't like Air Supply because their music consists of love songs. Kids don't like love songs or understand them. I didn't understand them either, but I enjoyed them all the same. Air Supply is one of the greatest and most incomparable musical duos of our time!
Toured in support of these guys in the late 80's. Cannot say enough good things about these guys.
Still interesting to me how most groups, no matter where they're from, end up with an American accent when they're singing...
@@JustWasted3HoursHere I am American, I hear "the Aussie Brogue".
@@brainsareus When they're singing? You have good ears then!
@@JustWasted3HoursHere you have a good ear and good taste in music!!!
my uncle was a former biker back in NJ and he made some modifications on his bike so he could put some speakers and play a whole Air Supply playlist while on the road :) so yah, many bikers do love them
Wow what a blast from the past! You had to be hiding under a rock not to know who air supply was in the 1980s. I still love their music now!
They influenced almost generations.
I've played guitar for almost 40 years and grew up playing all the hard and heavy but the older I get, the more I realize who the true timeless songwriters were and Graham is one of the masters.
I never get tired of their music and stellar *LIVE PERFORMANCES*
His voice still sounds good.
I just got a pain in my heart at 52. No not a heart attack but a love pain remembering the song, “Here I am” because it reminds me of my first love breaking up with me and how heartbroken I was. We reconnected years later and parted as friends. Sadly, he was taken to soon. Air supply brings back those memories! Those beautiful, innocent, puppy love memories. I will always be grateful to them for that!
I saw Air Supply back in 2000 I think it was. I went to Atlantic City in New Jersey. My ex-husband and I drove from Lewiston, Maine straight through to the casino they were performing at and it just happened to be an "Air Supply east coast fan club thing". I was so lucky cuz the others in the club had seen them so many times that they went outta their way to make that night unforgettable for me and I'll never be more thankful for their help. I met BOTH Russell Hitchcock & Graham Russell after the show and I felt sky high!! Their show was amazing...even better than imagined it could be. I've loved them for 35 years now and would give anything to see them just one more time
Happy 70th Birthday Graham Russell
Air Supply is really famous here in the Philippines! Like 'really'. Their songs are considered as legends here
Can't get truer than that.😉 Feeling ko nga mas sa Pinas, mas sikat pa sila kesa Beatles ih. And I don't mean disrespect.
@@takavams9939 feeling ko din e. Ang gaganda kase ng kanta nila ang daling sabayan😍
Pero love ko din ang beatles💖
Here in Brazil we love listening to his powerful and beautiful voice
that explains why i know air supply right now, because my culture really likes air supply. well the philippines really like being about love and stuff so 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Im young and love heavy music, but their songs (thanks to my parents) have a special place in my heart. Just great songs that will never die
They were my very first concert. We had nosebleed seats. I can remember every minute. It was so special. Just the sound of one of their melodies and I'm thirteen again.
The 80’s was pure magic for some stellar Rock Bands. Styx, Journey, Air Supply, Reo Speedwagon just to name a few. I miss those days and my youth…lol
Wow, this brings back memories. Glad they're still around and they still sound great!
And no falling out
I grew up with Air Supply, keep doing what you are doing, making love song's, don't listen to people, they are haters. God Bless you both. Stay safe. 🙏✝️❤
The one band everyone secretly loves
I like the respect between them.
Seen Air Supply in concert a few months ago. They are such great performers it's unbelievable! It's just the way he sings to the audience like it's delivered to you personally. Russell Hitchcock really knows how to Wow the audience! I love these guys!🥰 yes ..I'm definitely a Airhead!
My father's a solid fan of Air Supply that's why I am too 😍
We need to hear more Love in the songs today
I saw them in Beverly Massachusetts in the 90’s went for my birthday in May of that year with my mom, we had a blast they were singing all the classics songs plus they were singing songs for their upcoming album we all sang together with them they asked anyone having a birthday this month I said yes I am having one they sang happy birthday to me quietly just to me I cryed to myself. I still like these guys to this day 2021.
I love Air Supply and Russell's voice is simply amazing throughout all these years
I saw them perform in February of this year. Sold out show. Was a damn fine concert. They sounded amazing.
Saw them Tonight in SoCal . Phenomenal concert . Both in their early 70s and still so much energy they bring to their shows . Truly legends
I was a child of older parents....age.late 40s/early 50s..I grew up in the 70s with New Year's Eve with Guy Lombardo. But I remember being age 16 and listening to Air Supply's 'Lost in Love' repeatedly on the radio. Back then, our playlist was made by using a tape recorder off the radio. One day, I was quietly listening to that song when my mother asked me to 'turn up the volume'! Good music knows no limits!
This aired on my birthday...wonderful birthday present! Loved these guys ever since I was 8 years old and still listen to them today!❤️😁
How lovely!
Filipino?
Air Supply is awesome! 🙌🙌🌸🌺🌻🌸🙌🙌😇
Wow, Air Supply! They've come to my country, Paraguay, four times already, and every single time the venues were packed. They have the ability to rock everyone with their power ballads, which sound fantastic because they really "love and live" their music. I am fortunate enough to have met them in person twice, and they were super nice and available. What else can I say, they are beautiful on and out of the stage.
what a talent duo.....how in the world do you write that many hit songs? unreal...:)
My wife and I went to their NYC concert few years ago and we had so much fun. We were seated in the front row and my wife was yelling like crazy and she caught the attention of Russell. Hahaha
Russell reaction was amazing. LOL
Cant wait for them to come back here in NYC.
Lost in Love is one of the prettiest songs, I could ever have heard. I’ve liked it since I was teenager coming across that beautiful ballad.💛
Masterful songwriting. Masterful singing. These guys turn music into pure magic.
I would lay on the bed with my girlfriend and write down the lyrics while listening from the Greatest Hits cassette tape, so we could sing them together...3 girlfriends actually. I already knew them by heart.
I was 13 years old in 83.and we used to dance in Colombia to these songs in garage's dances on one floor tile.teen couples.and I saw them live in Millbourne NJ in 2000' great concert.great memories.
I am very blessed to say that these two gentlemen and I are friends! After a rough 2020 with the pandemic going on, my parents surprised me yesterday with tickets to see them for the fourth time! I cannot wait! I love them so much!
The masters of Romantic Rock❣️
Love seems to be at the basis of everything for them and it’s always worked beautifully. A gift not only for them, but mostly to their adoring fans.🥰
It’s pure magic when pieces of a puzzle come together. What a fantastic life that they have led and their impact on the world will be here for generations.
They paved away for another Australian duo Savage Garden.
Yes they did. Another great duo that should've made more music
I saw Air Supply in concert last year in Biloxi and I must say they were great. One of the best shows I have seen in a long time.
I'm so jealous. As I live in Northern Ireland the chances of me seeing Air Supply live are SLIM. The only two decent bands, that sing some rock ballads, that have ever come to Northern Ireland were Journey and Def Leppard and comparing them to Air Supply is like comparing chalk and cheese. Most bands of any musical genre with any longevity seem to bypass Northern Ireland altogether and go to Dublin, Republic Of Ireland.
@@adrianbradley8513 book a plane…catch them nearby somewhere. Life is short…just do it!
@@melvinsmiley5295 Thanks for the reply Melvin. I have travelled to Birmingham and Manchester,England to see KISS Motley Crue and Alice Cooper which is about an hour by plane from my nearest airport. I've checked Chicago's and Air Supply's tour dates and they are all FAR overseas from me,mostly USA or Canada. If they came to England, Scotland, Wales or Eire I would definitely make the effort to see them.
I still “LOVE” Air Supply!!💖💖
I'm 21 yrs old and these guys are one of my idols♥️
I just watched them last night in Hollywood Bowl. gonna watch them again in October in San Diego. oh i love their music. its timeless
Good for them, I saw them I AC in 2002. Graham's voice was gone. He even thanked Russell for carrying the show.
Great memories. Glad they have remained friends and still sound amazing.
The beautiful music
I always loved them!
Air Supply is the only one whose songs I can reply thousands of times and never get bored. Reminded me of my childhood, miss my dad!
I love all of their songs. I used to ride my horse and sing Air Supply songs to him.
Been listening to these guys since the 80s and good to see them still together ❤
Super lucky that age hasn't robbed him of his voice, or at least its range. I'm not embarrassed to say, as a regular guy, that I own at least one of their albums... Possibly more... :) I remember my ex-girlfriend, when we first started dating, said to me, "As long as you like Air Supply we'll be fine." Well, that didn't work out as well as she thought it would, but we're still good friends even though I've been married (not to her) for 20 years.
My favorite band! Air Supply makes me happy every time i listen them.
Even though some love songs are about getting your heart broken and I've never had much luck with the ladies( I'm 49 and have been single for a LONG time) listening to Air Supply makes me smile although it would be nice to snuggle up to a nice lady while listening to them and the band Chicago.
I love putting the records on my turntable and just letting them play.
So great. I graduated in 1982. They are working derful. We Ned more love songs today. They are missing in pop music today.
I feel like they’re the only group that never had conflicts and are still together
It's extremely rare to hear of things like this. What a blessing!!!
That Russell's voice tho.. timeless
Im indonesian. great air supply.russell g
raham n russell hitchcock.
Legends. 💕 Glad they’re still making music and making audiences happy. 😘
They are a guilty pleasure.
Wow. I love Air Supply. Their voices and the melody.
Class. Atlanta. After show. On their bus. Great memories. Pure class
I love these two. Their music is phenomenal.
I saw you in Memphis, TN way back in 1985. Special girl and special music 😎 Thank you guys!!!
That's my favorite band!!! Love you so much!!! Never had an argument!!! He inherited his voice from his father ( Russell Hitchcock). They're still rocking 45 years now!!!!
I just love, love love those two guys since I was 15 and now I'm 58 and still my favorite
This past weekend my wife and I attended our first Air Supply concert. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. The band rock the house to the rafters! It was amazing, turned into a huge sing a long, as everyone knows the lyrics. Truly, a concert memory we will always relish.
I love airsupply 😍🥰
I'm so very pleased to know that Russell, and Graham have never had a falling out. So often, you hear of groups who have spats, that often lead to their breakup. It's such a rarity to hear of groups who get along as well as these two.
love AIR SUPPLY
*Proud to be an* *#AirHead** !!*
Wow 70years young...keep going lads we love you xo
well, that is a great way to wake up. Air Supply on CBS with a few clips from my song "Just As I Am"! sweet!

They are timeless favorites!!!
Love this band
Two magicians on stage and of course the rest of the band. Beautiful music, legendary artists.
Love and respect to Graham and Russell! Thank you for the beautiful music!🙏💚
I grew up with them on the radio. I always thought they were cheesy. Lately I’ve been listening to their songs on RUclips. Also Listen to Yacht Rock on Sirius-all those songs popular during my childhood
This was sweet - what a wholesome band with wicked talent! Loved them in the 80's!
Alwaya loved Air Supply's songs and will forever!!!

I love allá about Aire Supply 💋
My all time favorite..never get bored of their songs ❤️

Thank you for that! Well done.
Such great music & so many great memories.
I guess I didn't realize they were just a duo 🧐💕💕💕but they had some monster hits ..it just brings back memories...
I know what you mean: big sound from just two guys.
Thank you, guys for helping me through my less-than-stellar four years in the army. You still sound as awesome as back then.
What a voice!! I'm an airhead...
Have always loved these guys. Thank you for posting the interview
Great songs!
Living Legends
My dad had the album back in the 80s. It was such a big series of hits. Timeless.
