yes xenon looks better but I can't see the shadows as a driver and the LED lights shine stronger
@@marekrmk also when the roads are wet leds are useless. I have purchased lots of D3S leds and haven't found anything as strong as Osram cbb or Philips Extreme vision gen 2 .

That depends on what Xenon bulb you are using . I have Osram Cool Blue Boost D3S , best bulbs i have ever had . I have had led headlights in some previous cars i have owned and not as good as Xenons im afraid especially in wet weather .
Xenon shines much more evenly. The LEDs have a flare right in the center, which dazzles the eyes and impairs night vision. The uniformity of light is a very important parameter, which is better for xenon. Thanks for the video, it shows everything clearly.

@@sl96 Xenon blendet den Gegenverkehr mehr, ich selber hatte Xenon in meinem Auto, obwohl die Lichter richtig eingestellt waren, wurde ich immer wieder von anderen darauf hingewiesen, das meine Lichter sie blenden, wenn es geregnet hat war es ganz schlimm, da hat es fast jeden geblendet und hatte auch fast nichts gesehen, weil es nicht so gut bei Regen geleuchtet hat. Jetzt habe ich LED Scheinwerfer von Werk aus in meinem Auto, das ist definitiv viel besser, nachts ist alles viel klarer, niemand wird geblendet und bei Regen sehe ich auch noch sehr gut.
@@Fakilioglu Wenn du jemanden mit Xenon blendest dann waren deine Lichter definitiv nicht richtig eingestellt. Ich habe auch Xenon Scheinwerfer und kein einziger Fahrer hat mir jemals lichtgehupt. Ich selber sehe ja auch dass meine Lichtkante unter dem Fenster des Fahrers bleibt.
@@gamesnic vor allem bei nasser Straße ist es hauptsächlich gewesen, bei normalen trockenen Straßen war fast nie etwas.
On the wall LED looks better but the road is not vertical and on it the HID light pattern looks way more uniform.

Дякую за гарне та зрозуміле відео, у мене на авто стояв ксенон 4300 і він вже був старенький я вирішив замінити на лед 6000 і дуже був розчарований темними плямами та їздою у дощ, сьгодні завдяки вашому відео замовив ксенон 5000.
It seems that LED light is more spread but laks slighted range, while Xenon has a better far away vision, but lacks illumination sideways.

The only benefit I see in led is not fighting with ballests. A properly installed quality hid kit looks much better and provides more coverage.
HID is a better beam performance overall.

I have a problem on my Octavia iii.My led bulb for for high beam does not light in distance at all.Maybe because the led are cinese??
The beam pattern (shadow effects) depends on the projector used. In my Facelift W204 I didn’t see any difference in beam pattern, I got some Bullvision D1S LED and they are great. But that’s just my opinion. I get why people like Xenon, I used to have Osram CBI in my old car and they were good, they would light up the road for miles, the only issue was they were more yellow than a white colour and massively over priced!
Then you must had your hands on one of those clones, because the cbi is by far the best bluish white bulb there is ... if yellowish.. =clone
So do you know the MatriX bulb? Is it better than normal LED bulb in terms of illumination?

Hid will always be better, if the led is better you had bad hid anyways in the first place
I did have a pair of LEDs in my aftermarket projectors they are brighter but I noticed there’s a dark shadows on the road. So I chose aftermarket HIDs and they light up the road evenly and no darkspots no shadows on the road no nothing! I believe the HIDs do work a bit better than LED

Personally i will not change my 4300k xenons in projectors for no led bulb, no hot spot for leds , they produce much less light when warm after some time , loose brightness over time much more than any xenon , leds produce only 6000k , they arent good for fog or heavy rain from the other hand the only disadvantage of xenon is the faster headlight decaying over time

The thing that concerns me is do the led bulbs heat? Do they heat more then the HID in wich way I am risking of damaging the headlight, lens or something else??

I read that LED bulbs don't burn headlights out as quickly, that's why I wanted to try them. I have had them in my car for one year and two months and they still light up without any problems. I went with them all night and nothing happened.
LED are better because they consume less power and provide greater lighting
They don't get hot as Halogen that uses more power and won't provide the same coverage as LED which is why LED is standard in today's cars

In a xeno conversion, you should use mono led bulb
Led in xenon housing is not fine at all.
The hot spot is to down and this will result in lower distance visibility.
Use a new bulb like Osram Cool Blue Boost or Philips White Vision gen2

it’s not a question of led or hid when it comes to rain. but the kelvin rating. a slightly lower kelvin rating (yellowish tint like 4300k) will always be better when it comes to rain.

В ксеноновой линзе лучше ксенон, вестимо.
Тут однозначно видно, что ксенон светит правильнее и равномернее, не давая темных пятен и пересвета перед машиной.
лед конечно лучше. и моргать им можно нормально.

as a driver i prefer led, but as an oncoming traffic i prefer people to drive with just parking light

LED's are less power consuming, they produce much less heat and last longer, much more resistant to shocks and bumps, while being cheaper at the same time.
Xenon gives a better spread of light. (Depending on the magnifier of the headlight, sometimes there can be no difference at all ).
The above is my experience on a 2011 VW Sharan (xenon) and 2007 Toyota auris (LED)

55w kits only the ballast using 55w, the bulbs on those are just 35w, they made those so you could plug and play if you had a canbus, the car's system feels 55w and gives no warning errors.. make no mistake.. 9 of 10 of those 55w is like that, altough some can output 50/55w but the center of the hid bulb is bigger size pill.

No na to video nevidno tak rozdiel ale ak to pozeras na pc tak sa sustred na pravy kraj napr a tam vidno ze to viac osvetluje krajnicu ale na zivo je to vacsi rozidel a ano tie ledky maju mrtvy bod lebo niesu 360 to je ten tien pred autoom ale z pohladu sofera to nie je ani vidno takze to neprekaza vidno to je ak sa nahnem dopredu napriklad ... Ale urcite svietia silnejsie ledky a za tu cenu sa da kupit jedna vybojka takze mi to pride lepsie akurat neviem ako dlho vydrzia

На мой субъективный..., ксенон помягче светит, приятнее глазу, заливка равномернее. Диод даёт много контраста, утомляет. Интересно увидеть сравнение лазера с ксеноном.
тут задушенная d3s (лампочка и блок) - плюс они шторку бибошу запоганили - вверх подняли т.е уменьшили горячие пятно, в реальности би бош нормальный не оставит каких либо шансов леду, вот например недавно вернул горячее пятно этому неприметному модулю ruclips.net/video/OBaRx0e0NcE/видео.html - так вот интересно то, что он после доработки пересвечивает би лед оптиму интелегент с поданной на неё 2а сил тока - это при том что в бортовой сети авто ампераж будет куда скромнее.
@@toptroll7264 по поводу перебивать. Есть ни один ролик как светят очень сильные диоды. Даже в сухую погоду на дороге молоко, тяжело оценивать силуэты на дороге и расстояние до них. Просто дискомфорт. А в дождь просто караул будет. Такой свет больше будет подходить для речного или морского транспорта. А для дороги - излишне. Ксеноны наверняка тоже есть "вырви глаз" , но вопрос в целесообразности.

An LED cannot be better than xenon in a module that is designed for xenon. The xenon lamp has a 360° emitter, and the LED lamp has two sectors of 120° each, which look to the side. The whole part of the reflector is involved in the formation of the light, it is so designed from the factory.

LED majú jasnejšie ohnisko v strede vozovky (kde to až tak nepotrebujem - práve naopak, robí to zle protiidúcim vodičom najmä vtedy, ak sa namontujú na vyššie auto), ale to je všetko. Na pravom kraji až tak výrazne lepšie nesvietia. Mám to odskúšané aj na svojom aute. HID má stále lepší patern, pretože výbojka svieti do všetkých strán. Najlepšou cestou je mať projektory v perfektnom stave a kvalitné nevysvietené výbojky. A nie je treba tým pádom vymýšľať. Auto svieti úplne dostačujúco a na STK nebudú robiť problémy. Navyše LED má plný jas len prvých pár minút. Po hodine je schopná stratiť 15-50% svojho jasu.
No ja som to nezbadal ze by ledky stracaly jas.. vobec. Mam d1S v Octavii 2fl. Aj stretavacie aj dialkove uz LEDky. A su uplne super
@@27jezus Ty si to možno nezbadal, ale luxmeter vždy ukáže pravdu. :) Je to u LED prirodzený jav, že po zahriatí svietivosť klesne. Samozrejme nie všetky LED sú rovnaké. U niektorých je jav výraznejší, u niektorých menej. 20% postupného poklesu svietivosti nemôžeš postrehnúť, kvôli adaptácii oka. Muselo by sa to udiať skokovo.

Clasic lamp is top, have red light...new led have blue and human eyes they are most sensitive to red light, not blue. you can see what you illuminate, but not further than before. and you dazzle everyone around.

@@marekrmk the Xenon in the last Car was not the original, i changend the original with the Osram nightbreaker unlimited. I never thougt this would make that different in nightdrives. Premium is always better than original.
vyzkoušel jsem LED Osram 6000k, a už nechci LED žárovky, nepříjemně to oslňuje než svítí. A to nemluvím o protijedoucích autech s těmito světly.. strašně dlouho si oči opět zvykají...
A mal si to v xenonovych svetlách? Alebo to bola náhrada za halogen? Lebo to je rozdiel xenon ma projektor ktorý usmerňuje svetelný lúč a svieti to iba tam kde ma a neoslepuje ostatných

Это не led, а шляпа! Надо ставить не лампы в непонятно какие отражатели из-под галогена, а bi-led модули! Вот тогда и сравнивать, а точнее уже нечего сравнивать будет, т.к. ксенон будет хуже!

@@RcModelDIY обратите внимание на равномерность. Видите пересвет по центру у LED и темные провалы у светотеневой границы? Ксенон светит равномерно, это и понятно, он изначально проектировался инженерами и проходил все испытания.

Porovnávaš neporovnateľné . LED žiarovka nie je adekvátna Bi-xenónu Porovnávaj Bi-xenón vs Bi-LED projektor potom to bude objektívne porovnanie . LED žiarovka ma cca 2500lux na 3m Bi-LED projektor napríklad NHK V ma 10200lux na 3m pri stretávacích svetlách .A naviac 4500K voči 6500K tiež nie veľmi objektívne porovnávať . Ale snaha sa cení .😉
ja som nechcel porovnávať ani technológiu ani svetla ale iba žiarovky a to som aj spravil takže si myslím že je to objektívne porovnanie ... išlo iba čisto o to že tie led žiarovky stoja polovicu čo xenónové výbojky a svietia o máličko lepšie takže za mňa sa to oplatí
@@marekrmk Ten xenón asi nebol novy ale ktorý máš už dlhšie a ono časom sa vypaľuje a stráca svietivosť možno ináč by bolo pri novom z približne rovnakým K . Cenovo aj životnosťou sa oplatí LED ,netrpí tak odrazová plocha vysokou teplotou ako u xenónu .Pri LED by mi vadilo nerovnomerne rozptýlenie svetla ako máš pri xenóne . Zase xenón nemeníš každý rok ako halogén a dať 2-3x viac za prémiové xenón výbojky +200% ako za LED žiarovky no neviem .Ja preferujem väčšiu svietivosť aby som lepšie videl cena je až predposledná. Tak nech ti to dlho svieti k spokojnosti .
@@lubomirosif7580 Jasne to viem že nove osram nb laser budú silnejšie ale cena už je trojnásobok oproti led a ja som to len chcel skúsiť kvôli cene aké to bude a ešte ma presne zaujalo aj to že ta led žiarovka nevypaľuje tie odrazové plochy ale jasne určite je svietivosť dôležitejšia ako cena tak ale svieti to fajn tak som ich tam zatiaľ nechal a uvidím aspoň koľko aj vydržia tak ďakujem
@@marekrmk there is no point in buying the Night Breaker from OSRAM. in terms of hot spot brightness, they lose to Neolux D2SNX2S by 7%. It's just that the brightest part of the Night Breaker's hot spot is in the low beam zone, not the high beam.

Nieje skoro ziadny rozdiel
Naživo to vidno lepšie aj na tých dverách vidno že led sú silnejšie ale nie je to veľký rozdiel. Ale zatiaľ ich tam nechám uvidím ako dlho vydržia keďže boli dosť lacné a z činy.

Ксенон всегда будет лучше, особенно там, где он и должен быть изначально. Отражатель рассчитан на источник света с излучением на 360°, а у диодной лампы два сектора по 120°. Так что это шляпа полная, с темными пятнами и пересветом перед бампером. Это законы физики, не более 😄

@@denislokator от какой жизни и куда вперёд? Элементарно, законы физики - фундаментальны. Так что такие лампы и через 100 лет будут светить криво, ибо конструкция такая. Вы тесты посмотрите. Китайские BILED модули то в единичном случае пересвечивают реплику Hella 5r по яркости, а это даже не главный параметр хорошего света. А тут LED лампа в модуле, не предназначенном для нее. Всё это китайское поделие светит криво, что хорошо видно на этом видео.
