Statistically, most lesions in the spleen are benign. Statistically, a human walking a dog has three legs. I wish physicians used less statistics in their approach ;)
I just found out I have a legion on my spleen today. I've been very sick. No pain upper left side. Dr doing MRI though should I be worried? I litterally found you by accident after finding out. I've had symptoms over 4 years. Normal?
I have numerous splenic lesions for many years and they are now getting a bit larger along with small liver lesions. Is a splenic biopsy a safe way to go? Dr thinks low grade lymphoma or sarcoidosis. My Dr. mentioned a splenectomy but I don't want to go that route.
