Thank you for taking me back to 1920s New York City once again. Can you believe it? I've visited New York City from South Korea twice in just one week!
I give credit to you, Curious Muse! hehe..😂
While the vibrant atmosphere of the 1920s still resonated, my emotions took a different turn during my second trip. You'll understand what I mean. 😊
We all recognize the immense contributions of African-American musicians during that era.
Despite facing immense adversity, they brought so much to the table.
As a music lover, I can confidently say that their artistry and cultural impact cannot be overstated.
Their talent and creativity reshaped the music scene of the 1920s and beyond.🎵🎶

Read the Midnight Sleeper Series! It’s a time machine that takes you back to the 1920s in the American South, Manhattan-New York, and in Berlin. I couldn’t put the books down. It’s as if you’re walking the streets with the people you see in those old photos.

Very informative video. My Grandmother, born 1896, went to New York in the 1920s before moving to family farm in Georgia. She had stories to tell alright. ✌️👌🙂 I went to New York in the 1970s. Had amazing time and tales to tell too. Nana: "Hush hush sweet Charlie!". 🤫😂✌️💜🙂

The Sound Track. Jazz...Thanks for he Respect:
    What country invented Jazz?
Jazz is a music genre that originated in the African-American communities of New Orleans, United States, in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with its roots in blues and ragtime.
Who is the father of Jazz?
    Buddy Bolden
Buddy Bolden-this enigmatic man (b 1877) is reputed to be the father of Jazz, as his trumpet playing is considered the first to include improvisation.
    Did Buddy Bolden invent Jazz?
Charles Joseph "Buddy" Bolden, born in New Orleans in 1877, was considered the first person to play what later became known as Jazz.
Who is the most famous Jazz musician?
    Miles Davis
Miles Davis, the trumpeter whose lyrical playing and ever-changing style made him a touchstone of 20th Century music, has been voted the greatest jazz artist of all time.
Why was Jazz born in America?
Origins of Jazz Music in America
The base of Jazz was founded from “blues music” which was based off of African American slaves' hymns and field hollers which they sang in the fields as they picked cotton. During the early 1900s, Jazz became very popular against white critics’ wills because it was created by blacks.
Who is known as the King of Jazz?
    Paul Whiteman
Paul Samuel 'Pops' Whiteman, (born March 28, 1890, Denver, Colorado, U.S.-died December 29, 1967, Doylestown, Pennsylvania, U.S.), American bandleader, called the “King of Jazz” for popularizing a musical style that helped to introduce jazz to mainstream audiences during the 1920s and 1930s. Paul Whiteman encouraged upcoming African American musical talents and planned to hire black musicians, but his management persuaded him that doing so would destroy his career due to racial tension and America's
    segregation of the time.
If you Google, Paul Samuel Whiteman, you will see he is a white guy. "Makes you wanna holler and throw up both your hands!". How did the father, Buddy Bolden and the greatest Miles Davis are not crowned and this white guy becomes the King of Jazz?

My relatives went there and opened a store in NYC around that time. It was possible then for an average European family to do so. They sent a lot of letters back home.
