A few people online have made a good point that a lot the ridiculous messy food/spilling liquids/etc videos also double as "subtle" f*tish content (similar to one minute craft's "weird" shots and processes) which tbh makes it worse for me
actually now that i think about it most ragebait videos are probably also f*tish content ...
I’m sorry, but if you have to think about how something might be a fetish or fetish content, I feel like it says more about you than the person making it.
Pouring ranch? I’m sure that turns someone on, but it’s innocuous….though I guess, ultimately, everything a person can do is something that can turn another person on. At a certain point, you’re just choosing to interpret normal actions as fetish shit, and that’s just as weird as the people actually making subtle fetish content.
Nah they're right unfortunately. There's a fuckton of fetish content out there that appears innocuous for the sake of appearing on others' feeds. That isn't to say that's the intention of everyone making this content, but think of mukbangs, weird food combinations, or "crushing" or "sploshing" videos. It's snuck into advertising, children's media, and everywhere else. It's more prevalent than you might initially think.
Back in my day, it was called trolling and everyone knew what to do about trolls:
Ignore them.
Seriously, stop feeding the trolls and in their attention-starvation, they'll either start acting like decent people or wind up trolling themselves.
