I love you. I’ve been trying to figure this out for a while. I think I stumbled on it a couple days ago but couldn’t remember. Thank you thank you thank you
Hello and sorry for the late feedback... just saying : I don't know if you found a solution to your problem but what you can actually do is to save your current settings by writing them down in any of your banks with the "write" button. All of the settings wil be saved, such as effects, length of the loops, bpm, sync, ... I've created several different settings for each of the songs I'm playing and labeled them properly to find them immediatly, just by turning the knob. Hope it helps ! ;-)
Hey there!. Great tutorial, short and simple. I have a question for you. I just got the rc-300 and I was wondering if it's possible to change the auto rec once for all the phrases, instead of doing it one by one. I've been looking online, but I can't find anything about it. Do you know?. Thanks, man.
The Auto-Rec only works when the unit is stopped and you are going to record on your first track. If the machine is already playing another track, then Auto-Rec doesn't apply and recording on the second track will happen right away.
Hey! thanks for the video, I tried to do as you explained but on my rc-300 under auto rec there is something called "trigger" and not an on/off option....what should i do?
Thanks for the video. I'm having trouble using the auto record. I set it to ON, but it will only work for the first track I record. When I press REC/PLAY to arm the next track, it just begins recording right away instead of waiting for an input signal. What am I doing wrong? Any help is much appreciated! Thanks.
RC-2 is a FAR less complex machine than the RC-300. It didn't have any menus, it just has knobs. But you are correct, you could leave the RC-2's knob on the AUTO setting; and as long as you leave it there, any phrase you use would be effected by it.
I for one absolutely appreciate you sharing this feature!!! THANK YOU!

You can have auto record to work separately on each track.
Thank you for this. Just did it

What if it blinks and doesn't switch to record when I hit my string
Wasn't it possible to set this permanently with the RC-2 .... I hate that I have to set the Auto Rec to On every time I create a new loop patch......
It's not seeming to work on mine when I put it on it doesn't blink on record
Very helpful! Thanks a lot! If you got more tips and tricks, don´t hesitate. :o)
Thanks!!!
Thaaank you!!!
Ableton Live can not do this...

It's not possible.
