Great TBR, good luck with your 7 picks! There's so many of us reading Harry Potter for this readathon, it's like an unofficial readalong! haha
Haha we should do a mini watchalong too! Which HP book are you picking up? And good luck to you!
The first one! I've embarrassingly never read Harry Potter before so I'm excited! And YES to a watchalong, that's a great idea!
Not fair! That read a book after sunset challenge benefits those in the s'ern hemisphere where it's winter & sunsets come early, eh Caz. :-)
Hehehehe ;)
You've been recently very active posting videos on YT, me likey

the book thief has the most haunting ending sentence I've ever read
Infernal Devices is one of my all time favorites. I actually love it much more than Mortal Instruments. It's so emotional and heartbreaking and magical!
Two words.... THE EPILOGUE
+Martina Akho A thousand Thumbs Ups.
The Clockwork Prince is definitely the best one in the series! I hope you enjoy :D
The epilogue in the last book...

I preordered it, just in case!
I'm so tired and depressed and you always have this energy and stenghth it is just amazing....ehh keep doing what you are doing because youre an amazing person
The audiobook of The Book Thief is AMAZING!
Can't wait to see what your video challenge will be!
I really love that edition of The Book Thief!
I love Mrs Dalloway. The writing is sublime - it has a stunning way of articulating the flow and nuance of human consciousness.
I'm gonna be reading The Voyage Out for one of my challenges, so I hope we both enjoy our respective Woolf books.
Hooray, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed Mrs Dalloway! I hadn't even heard of it before seeing it on my uni reading list, so I'm thrilled it's wonderfully written. Good luck!
Oooooo Clockwork Prince! I love The Infernal Devices, and like it even more than The Mortal Instruments! I'm so excited for the BookTube-a-Thon. Good luck!
I'm so excited! Booktubeathon is always my favorite time of year! I need to read the illustrated HP. Good luck and happy reading! :)
Picking a TBR was the hardest thing I've had to do all summer(I'm a teacher on break). I think I've finally made the perfect selection (on my channel). I'm really looking forward to it!!!! :)
I am looking forward to participating this year. I am most looking forward to reading The Wrath and the Dawn (heard about on RUclips) and A Court of Thorns and Roses (favorite author)
I just finished TW&TD and it was incredible! So good!
Thats food to know! Thanks
OOOH I hope you enjoy those, I've been wanting to read both of those for so long!
I can't believe it's my 4 year participating!;) So excited
You are the first booktuber I ever watched and you've been posting super often and suddenly I've been in a great reading mood. I don't think does facts are unrelated, so thanks ;)
Good luck!! I'm excited for this readthon!!
I listened to the book thief as an audiobook! It was a great performance. I fell in love with the book so much because of the performance x
I hope you enjoy Clockwork Prince! Good luck with your TBR!
I'm most excited about reading The Last Star because I want to see how The 5th Wave trilogy wraps up!
Clockwork Prince is my favourite Cassandra Clare novel, I hope you love it :) The illustrations in that edition of Harry Potter are stunning!
i thought the Clockwork Prince audiobook was pretty great. i think that was my favorite Cassandra Clare book i've read.
i'm so glad you're hosting a day of the BTAT :)
I just realized that is the week I am free from work and we scheduled a vacation so I will hopefully have plenty of time to read! :) Funny how it worked out exactly like this for me last year, too.
I'm also reading Clockwork Prince for booktube-a-thon! Can't wait! :D
Good luck with your TBR! Looking forward to your host day! I'm hoping to try and do as many of these challenges as possible 😊
I can't wait to get that illustrated Harry Potter edition soon! It just looks sooo beautiful!
yayy finally you'll be reading Clockwork Prince! I'll bet you'll be hooked at the end and then you can pick up the third book..
So excited that you're a host! I'm so sad as I just don't think I'll have time to do this readathon :( but I'm going to love watching everyone else do it!
Oh no! Hopefully next year (or if there's another Xmas BookTube-a-Thon) you will have the time to participate again :) I wish you the best of luck with your reading this month anyway!
I've also added a Harry Potter book to my TBR, and I think I'm mostly looking forward to that one. Just because I know I'm in for a treat! This is my first time participating in this readathon, so it's going to be fun.
My first BookTube video was my TBR for this reading challenge!! I'm hoping to read The Girl With All The Gifts as my yellow cover, The 5th Wave after dark, and Me Before You as my book/movie adaptation!!! SO EXCITED!
The audiobook of The Book Thief is ANAZING!
Yeeey The Bookthief
I'm so excited i decided what i'm going to read a few days ago,
a book with yellow on the cover - Kindred Spirits by Rainbow Rowell
a book you discovered through book-tube - Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson
a book from one of your favourite authors - The Walking Dead Rise of the Governor by Robert Kirkman
a book thats older than you - Sherlock Holmes by Author Conan Doyle
a book-to-film adaptation - Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by JK Rowling
only after sunset - Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare
seven books - The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
yayayayayayay your hosting!
Good luck! I'm so excited for the readathon to start!
I read the HP illustrated edition a while back - it's fabulous! I'm probably most excited about picking up Illuminae. I've heard so many rave reviews that I can't wait to see what all the hype is about.
CLOCKWORK PRINCE (YOU NEED TO GET TO CLOCKWORK PRINCESS. IT WILL BREAK YOU BUT YOU WILL LOVE IT)
Ahh I hope you enjoy Clockwork Prince!!
I'm more partial to Clockwork Princess, but the entire Infernal Devices trilogy is amazing!! I'm really enjoying the roundup of books you have :)
I plan on reading - The rest of us just live here by Patrick Ness, Coraline and other stories by Neil Gaiman, A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas, the road to Wigan pier by George Orwell, the bloody chamber and other stories by Angela Carter, The picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, and Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi!
I recently bought a book called Cats in Space and Other Places. It has a lot of sci fi stories featuring cats. I'm most excited to start that one, it's going to be both my yellow read and my post-sunset read.
Oh yes Clockwork Prince is so good and I really need to read The Book Thief :) good luck with your TBR!
so happy you might be reading raelia!!
Cat I'm loving the videos you've been posting. Keep spitting them out YASSS more videos. I will be doing Booktubeathon too so can't wait till you host the sprint!! Uhh still need to film TBR #toolazy
Whoa that's an ambitious TBR! I limit myself to books under 400 pages because I know anything bigger would overwhelm me (especially with work and camp nanowrimo and Big Brother going on). My TBR video isn't going up until the weekend but I'm super excited about the books I'm reading!
I usually do that too, picking smaller book is definitely a smarter approach! I just have so many chunky books I want to read XD I will definitely be participating in lot's of reading sprints.
Good luck in the BookTube-a-thon!
This will be my first one! I'm super excited :)
Im so excited to start HEIR OF fIRE!
Ooh fantastic picks! I'm most excited about reading Nevernight as my book to only read after sunset :)
Wow. That's a chunky TBR. haha. I have a list of books that I'm just really anxious to read but have to wait basically another week to read. The hype will make me read them all. haha
I'm reading Captain Marvel Vol. 1, Squirrel Girl Vol. 1, Hawkeye Vol. 3, Misery by Stephen King, Twilight: life and death, the Scorch Trials and Acting is a business and I'm most excited about Squirrel Girl. :)
Catriona I love the background you use in your videos, it's so pretty!
Lovely booktubeathon tbr! :) I think the book I am most excited to read in my pile is Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur! It's this little poetry book, and I've seen a few of the poems and they're just so good!
My TBR so far:
Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro (and then watch the movie adaptation)
Brave New World by Aldous Huxley (older than me)
The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater (booktube made me)
The Heart Goes Last by Margaret Atwood (my favourite author)
Trees Vol. 1 by Warren Ellis and Jason Howard (after sunset)
Still need a book with yellow though!
I'm most excited for "discovered through BookTube", because I'll finally be reading Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
I'm participating - can't wait! I'm excited to read Since you've been gone and thirteen reasons why! All the best with the readathon 😊
I am reading The Mortal Instruments now and had to order The Infernal Devices.
It's summer, so I'm going to make a go of the 7 book challenge. My TBR pile is The Time Machine by H.G. Wells (yellow), Brooklyn by Colm (after sunset), The Secret Library by Haruki Murakami (booktube - Jen Campbell), Touch of Power by Maria V. Snyder (fav author), Daphnis & Chloe by Longus (very old), Mansfield Park by Jane Austen (read & watch), and either A Study in Scarlet by Arthur Conan Doyle or The Look of Love by Sarah Jio. If I can't manage 7, lots of these can do double duty.
i have that edition of Harry Potter and i cant wait for the 2nd one comes out... My younger brother is reading it right now and he has his own segment on my channel that follows him as he reads it. I loved it!
Ahh Raelia is such a good book you are going to love it!!
I'm glad you enjoyed it, CAN'T WAIT! I've heard it's even better than Akarnae!
Yeah I swear this series is going to be one of those that gets better with every book :)
I think these are the books that I am planning to read based on that:
1. The accidental by Ali Smith (definetly recommended around youtube, and i think the cover in my version is yellowish)
2. Petronile by Amelie Northomb (Definetly one of my favourite authors)
3. A portrait of a young poet by James Joyce (definetly older than me)
4. The catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger (including the movie)
5.The green road by Anne Enright (also recommended around youtube)
6. An singularly unfeminine profession by Mary K Gaillad (just because I have really been wanting to read this)
7.Vagina by Naomi Wolf (I hope I get into this one)
I'm participating! I have a TBR video up on my channel. I'm probably most excited to finish Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb. I put it down in May and I really need to get back to it. Can't wait to sprint with you!
I hope you enjoy Clockwork Prince, I loved it! I'm also rereading Harry Potter, but listening to it.. lol But am also looking forward to rewatching the movies. Good luck with the booktubeathon!
I love your background 😍😍
I'm excited for so many of my tbr books, it's hard to decide! Probably 'Emma' by Jane Austen because I haven't read a classic in some time and I've also never read anything apart from 'Pride and Prejudice' by her. Plus, my edition is yellow :)
I keep pushing back all the Cassandra Clare books, should've thrown one into my BTA TBR this year. Oh well. Nice video :)
I'm going on vacation during this time so yay I'll participate!! I'm excited. I'll most like pick up a Harry Potter book and then watch the movie...considering I've never read or watched it
I'm in the middle of Clockwork Princess, Clockwork Prince was not my favourite but I hope you will enjoy it!
I also need to read Mrs. Dolloway next semester! :D
Interesting book tbr, hope you feel better soon and that you are able to fully participate in the read a thon.
Thank you so much :D I hope so too!
I haven't read Clockwork Prince yet, sort of liked Clockwork Angel and am unsure about the rest of the trilogy. Look forward to hearing what you think of it.
I have a whole bunch of big books for my TBR as well... I this my page count is a little over 2500 pages
Yay! I'm so excited for this! I am going on vacation, and my birthday is the 24th, so I probably won't be able to read as much as I want, but I am still very excited!
Happy early birthday! So jealous though, where are you going on vacation? Good luck with the read-a-thon :D
+Little Book Owl thank you! I'm going to a friend's lake house at Smith Mt. Lake, and I'm so excited! good luck to you too!
i am going to do this challenge even tho it a little late for it but I am going to put a twist to it no time line to it just because I am a slow reader and it will help me in my tbr pile. it just sounded fun to do :)
I'm going to be reading:
Anna and the French kiss by Stephanie Perkins
Lola and the boy next door by Stephanie Perkins
Red's untold tale by Wendy Toliver
Harry Potter and the half-blood prince by J.K Rowling
Did I mention I miss you by Estelle Maskame / Ruined by Amy Tintera ( haven't decided yet)
Me before you by Jojo Moyes
And
Quidditch trough the ages by J.K Rowling
I'm reading The Book Thief, too! (For the first time, though... I might've peeked on the first ten pages or so-oops :3 (it was AWESOME!))
I just posted by TBR on Instagram after continuously swapping out and deciding on what fit the challenges best. I'm probably the most pumped to read The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman!
The Graveyard Book is gorgeous, great pick!
I'm not sure how you do long books for this. I wish I could do it this year, but I have too many things to do! But your list of books sounds great :) I'm actually interested in The Slow Regard of Silent Things and Fullmetal Alchemist (I lived in Japan for 11 years, and my wife loves it).
I plan on reading Raelia too, as well as Midnight Bites by Rachel Caine, Time Flies by Adrian Peningsten-bird (don't think that's spelt right), illuminae, alices adventures in wonderland, murder on the orient express, and a short graphic novel I can't remember the name of.
I'm reading Uprooted by Naomi Novik, A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, The Tales of Beedle the Bard, Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton, and The Ghost of Graylock by Dan Poblocki. I need a seventh book to read but I'm not sure what it is going to be yet. I may either Aesop's Fables or a graphic novel.
the new TID book covers are really cool. I love the spins... LOL okay so why does everyone pick creepy looking books to read at night?! 🙈🙈🙈 LOL oh Full Metal Alchemist!! I should read that sometime too!! I'm really on the edge about the readathon! I don't know if I'll have time but I like to pop in and cheer everyone one anyway!
I really liked your TBR. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan as well so I hope you enjoy reading the illustrated version of Philosopher's stone. Also, Clockwork Prince was such a great book, so hopefully you get to read it. Have you already read The Mortal Instruments? It is my first year doing this and my TBR is very small compared to yours because I decided to combine challenges =) I wish you luck with the reading and hopefully we'll all have fun that week...
i will be participating in the booktubathon as well. and i will trt to upload my booktubathon tbr video as well.. if not a wrap will surely be there 😄😄
Nice TBR! I just listened to the audiobook of The Book Thief for the Bibliothon. I didn't finish it though. But it was nice :)
I've thought about doing the Booktube-a-thon but I haven't' fully decided if I'm going to or not. It seems a bit intimidating since I haven't done a reading challenge like it before. But I know for sure that if I did participate, the book I would read after sunset would be A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin.
I have finally decide to pick up the Princess Bride (as the movie & book challenge) I really hope that it's as funny as everyones say! I also have some short Virginia Woolf on my tbr :)
I don't know what it is but you changing Caz to Catriona in your intro catches me off guard everytime XD
Hahaha sorry! Since all my social media use my full name I thought I'd just keep things consistent :P
Whatever intro, still love your videos
I am hoping to read: Pride and Prejudice (6), Autobiography of Us (1), The Witches (4), Amazing Adventures of Cinnamon Girl (3), Brooklyn, Are you there God, its me Margaret (5) and the Importance of being Earnest.
Great vid
the book thief❤❤❤
I'm an idiot and put Order of the Phoenix on my TBR cos I'm trying to reread the series and that's where I'm up to 😂
Hopefully I will have read a good chunk of it before the BookTubeAThon starts!
Oh goodness, good luck!!
Thanks! You too!
I'm also reading Harry Potter & the Philosopher Stone; but I think the book I'm most looking forward to reading is Heartbreakers by Ali Novak.
I really enjoyed it. it wasn't the best but not that worse too
Good luck with the read a thon.
Harry Potter
Which audio version do you plan on doing The Book Thief to? Earlier this year for my reread I listened to the one narrated by Dennis Olsen & it was perfect. He sounded like Geoffrey Rush & it just suited Death really well.
eeek your birthday is the day after mine :) july 18 is my birthday
i totaly reccomend you to read a book called underwater by marisa reichardt its her debut novel its one of the best ones I've ever read :)ĺ
What course are you taking at college?love you! 💕
My TBR is here: ruclips.net/video/_Q-ob6yJmr4/видео.html
And I'm really looking forward to Angelfall.
YOUR NAME IS KATRINA!?
Yeah :) It's spelt Catriona though :P
Is it really terrible I hate city of bones? 😩 I want the illustrated version of Harry Potter so bad! Good luck though!🤓🤓🤓🦄💁🏻💯💯💯💕💕💕
I don't hate it, but I also don't really like it either.
Omg I love city of bones
Not at all! I was eh about The Mortal Instruments books, but loved Clockwork Angel a lot more!
