I have a good feeling about Doug Christie for some reason. I think all the players like him and i really think he cares about the Sacramento Kings hes gonna take it seriously
I think Kings fans are pissed because the firing absolutely makes 0 sense. But I'm trading Fox ASAP for his arrogance and demeanor towards the team and organization. He ultimately dissed the fans by his lack of professionalism and overall quitting on the team. "But it can't get any worse" - Mike Bibby.
Monte needs to be on the hot seat next !! A trade could have been made before firing coach. Fox got called out and that was fair !! Monte needs to be questioned for his drafting, all these guards no wings, no rim protection. Mike brown lineup were garage, Keegan has been sad. It was either Mike brown or Fox 😢 sad to say
When I think that Vivek was interested in buying my Inter Milan chills run down my whole body 😬 luckily he didn't 😅 said so, Mike Brown has been fired not because of losing games to me, but because he lost the locker room and I truly believe that some players were playing against him. Anyway, was he really that good as head coach? He did really have a good impact in 2022, for sure. He was coming off a championship season in GS and he transferred those good vibes to a team that was completely lost. After that, the struggles came up again and all the magic went off. Why? Because he's a good impact coach, but he can't mantain this environment for so long. What about the playing side? He tried to implemented some of Warriors' ideas in Sacramento, but we all know that the Warriors' era is over and we are slowly turning back to a defense-oriented league. So, Mike Brown as a defensive-minded coach was not able to catch that and he forced the things to a way of playing that was funny, yes, but not winning. Not anymore, at least. Look at what Atkinson is doing in Cleveland. Yes, the Cavs were already a good team, but he did not change the philosophy, he simply evolved it. Brown did not and the Kings went south again. So, is he the scapegoat of this situation? Yes. Did he really do a good job? First year for sure, but then absolutely not.
We should've kept our original roster from our playoff appearance an worked the draft this team is good but isn't as solid. Christie as coach is a whole new energy.
A change to the roster. It wasn’t Brown fault that the roster is completely devoid of athletic wings aside from Keegan. Not his fault that the front office brought in DeRozan whose fit with the team was already questionable. Also not his fault that key players on the roster just got ridiculously worse offensively/at 3pt shooting(emphasis on Murray, Huerter, Lyles). If the goal is still to make the playoffs, then firing Brown makes no sense. No coach is coming in a changing this team’s trajectory with the roster construction staying the same. And if they plan to make trades to improve the surrounding pieces of the stars, then there was no reason to fire Brown. The only way this firing makes sense is if they’re pivoting to a retool/rebuild and “blowing it up”
"And if they plan to make trades to improve the surrounding pieces of the stars, then there was no reason to fire Brown." - Exactly. They need a power forward, DeRozan 2, Murray small forward, Monk coming in for 30 min. With Huerter, and or Ellis and Lyles who needs a slap in the face. Lyles needs to go celebate and learn to Roar like a slow MO Jean Claude Van Dam!!! Come on bro, go watch blood Sport. And get in the game.
@DeuceandMo you're saying he doesn't still do Kings events because I've seen him do events for them. Most Vets do. Periodically he does work for them and represent the organization. It's like if Tim spoke against the Spurs then you see him on the sidelines in the post season or at some Spurs event taking pictures, it won't happen.
@@GodsLoveBeWithYou yeah he mightve lost the locker room but if the kings won the game would he be fired? not sure if he would. it feels a little wrong for him to be fired for his players terrible last second mistake. also the kings havent played terrible. they have a positive net rating but havent been able to close games. they should be in the 5th or 6th seed

But he just fcked up after last year when Kevin huerter underperformed and still played him 35+ minutes. Gave the team that if you underperform, you will still play. Fckin sad if you really think about it. Just fckin it up for Fox and Sabonis

Because of the coach duh … how do you go from highest scoring team all time, to middle of the pack? Because they stopped trying to play that style and Brown wanted everyone to focus all their efforts on defense. Just look at Keegan. How did he go from this 3-pt guy to not hitting 3s? Cuz he was exerting too much effort on defense… all his focus is defense and rebounding. Yes, he’s a pro and should be expected to do everything… but not everyone is Kobe. Otherwise, there would be no Kobe. Brown knew he was on the hot seat from last year when the team was getting blown out by 20 pts a game. Yall must’ve forgot or something. And he refused to change his mindset…. Hopefully Doug doesn’t keep the same mindset and go back to running and gunning.
@ yes. MB hard coaching style worked the first year cuz it lit a fire on young guys with no direction. You can’t keep drilling it for 3 years. It becomes like a parent that’s nagging, eventually they gonna stop listening. It’s his job to realize this and adapt, instead his ego couldn’t let it go.

Never, Never, foul a 3 point shooter in a close game with seconds left. I feel the owner should sale this team, walk away. Fire the GM immediately.
Get all the old Kings on the coaching staff, Bibby, bring up Bobby Jackson,
