Ah Rosie seeing you today if just what I needed after what has been the worse week of my life. Our two black fluffy cats, my little boys best friends went missing on Friday night and were sadly found on Sunday in a neighbours pond and had drowned 😢💔My little boy feels like his world has ended so I am going to pull all the stops out this Easter to make it so special for him and us. Ps I’ve had the big white tree for a few years I use to just use it for Easter but last couple of years I’ve decorated it for valentines with red and silver heart baubles and for March it’s Green clover hanging baubles with green long baubles just a thought for you xxx

Great finds Rosie😊. Love the egg hunt baskets👌. Beautiful.. And when the kids are older and don't hunt anymore, you/or they can use them in their room for decor... Even tuck in the ears and turn around with face to the wall to use the basket at other times of year for decor. You could add a different color cloth liner over the top. I have a basket from my childhood. I now use it with fake hanging plants in on my shelf. I have just turned 50, so my basket is now 45+yrs old...I love having things around from my childhood. PS. B&M also had the Easter bunny pastel cutlery and napkin holders, yep I bought two of those baskets in green, plus the quilted plush baskets, they were £3 each
When my son was small I had a large amount of the plastic eggs to find in the garden and there would be an equal amount to find for each child and then once they were found they would bring them to me and get one big egg from a big basket. I would buy cheap big eggs in various coloured foils and get rid of all the cardboard packaging. It worked out cheaper and fairer for each child, so no one had more eggs that anyone else. @@Rosiehenshawhome The plastic ones make it a bit easier for the kids to see and also they can't start eating it while they walk around while they may have grubby hands. Also if Bertie is in the garden and all the chocolate eggs don't get found and he eats one, it's dangerous as obviously they are toxic for dogs.No arguments over who has the most eggs was so much easier! Like I say, you can save money each year by reusing the plastic ones and just buying one big egg for each child. 😘
