Typically, I do not want to change direction during a cut on a Facing op. I'd rather change direction "Off the Part." But, sometimes it's nice to leave a part without burs on the edge. Use 3D Adaptive. Set the Stock to Leave 0.000 and change the Tolerance from .004in to .0004" - .0001". Let us know how it goes!

What about a facing tool path in fusion 360 that is helical. Start from outside going in.
Any ideas how to to go about that
