Overlanding at the most Beautiful Site in Zhanskar | God of Mountains Gonbo Rangjon

After completing after Hampta pass Trek which was of Five days we have Left for Zhanskar road trip. Halting and preparing Lunch at this place was a dream come true experience for me.
Nestled in the heart of the Indian Himalayas in Zanskar valley of UT of Ladakh, Gonbo Rangjon (or Gombo Rongjan or Gombo Ronjan or Gumbo Ranjan or Gumbok Rangan or Gonbo Ronjan) Mountain stands as a beacon of natural beauty and spiritual significance.
Located in the remote Zanskar region of Ladakh close to Ladakh and Himachal border, this majestic peak is not only a haven for trekkers and adventurers but also a site of deep cultural and religious importance.
Gonbo Rangjon, a standalone mountain peak, next to Lakhang at the base of the Shinkula pass, is popularly known as the God’s Mountain due to religious significance for the Buddhist people of Zanskar valley. The peak can be seen from Shinkula and can also be seen from Kargiakh village.
