As an experienced gardener, I can tell you that if your snow or snap peas have a tough woody string on them, then you waited too long to pick them off the plant. If you pick snow peas when they are young and flat, they are extremely tender and you can even enjoy eating them raw. Some snow pea varieties are even stringless The snow peas in the ready-to eat bag I used were tender and NOT tough/overly chewy.
@@TannyCooks Hmmm I have to disagree with you or maybe it is the variety you are planting but even when picked young and when the peas are very tiny inside they still possess a tough string that should (or shouldn't if that is one's preference) be removed. I just bought that same bag you have in your video and yes they are tender however I did remove the string.
No problem, that’s the great thing about cooking is that everyone can prep and cook food to their own personal preferences. What other ingredients or seasonings did use with your snow peas?

Would be nice if you added the ingredients below. Otherwise was a good video recipe
I hear you and I agree! I am working on setting up a blog website with the full ingredient list AND printable recipes
So you didn’t remove the tough “strings” from the snow peas. Definitely can’t eat everyone’s food! 😅
