The move at 1:18 is kinda similar to a thing I saw in the Fontaine Trials, not saying that anyone copied on the other, just that those kind of moves are popularising, and there are so beautiful ! That mechanic of separating faro-ed cards into a satisfying way like that is pretty common so probably no copied but from similar inspirations ;)
