Great video on on your photographic woodland ramble as the season is about to change. Regarding the mid-week photo images, image plus your short intro without the music would suffice. Just my opinion, test the water as the saying goes and good luck with it. I'll be sure to check it out 🙂
Thanks John. Yeah I realise how music can often be a distraction. I’m trying to keep my choices and volume to a minimum. I’m still playing with the idea of a midweek camera roll video though so I’ll see how things pan out 👍
nice vlogg Tudor , you could make a little project with the horse chestnut tree 1 photo every week so you get the full range of changing colours. You said about filters I buy for the largest diameter lens I have then step down rings for the rest so no need to keep buying different sized filters.
Hey that’s a great idea about the horse chestnut tree. I know it looks glorious when those leaves turn. And a great suggestion about step down rings. I hadn’t considered that. I’ll be checking it out 👍
Thanks Tudor for sharing your experience with great results...I also like to just walk around taking pics at whatever interests me at the time...I purchased a s/h Tamron 18-270mm lens for my D7100 and really love the results... look forward to your mid week videos.... cheers from Australia 🦘🦘😃
When I gave my old Nikon D3100 to my granddaughter for her GCSE course at school, I gave her my original Tamron 18-200 which is why I bought the Nikkor 18-140. I missed the extra reach hence my new purchase. Now if I look at an 18-300 I could sell all the other lenses 🤣
I have the Tamron 18-200 on my Nikon D7000. It's a lovely lens. Unfortunately mine needs to be either replaced or repaired because I accidently dropped the bloody thing! The camera itself wasn't damaged, it's built like a tank, but the lens now won't extend beyond 18mm! 😣😣 I like the idea of you providing a bit of a commentary as to why and how you took the shot. That sounds interesting. I've tried making videos just set to music. Just slide shows really. They do work to an extent but I always thought that mine were a bit boring! 😂😂 What camera is it you're using by the way? It's a lovely colour!😁😁
I lost my original 70-300mm lens the same way. The camera fell off a bench but landed on the lens! They are fragile aren’t they? My camera is the entry level DSLR Nikon D3200. Nikon offered the entry level range in red and I thought I’d be different. Everyone has a black camera right? 🤣
My camera of choice is the Pentax K1 Mark II that I just recently got previous camera is the Pentax k-70 go back slightly further Pentax k-01 and a little further back Pentax K10D and a little bit further than that is the Rico quick shot 2 which is another Pentax 35 mm film camera
Hi,fantastic video, have you ever tried a challenge with one camera one lens, 35mm 1.8G on your Nikon D3200,brilliant it is,zoom with your feet, you will be surprised at the results, let me know, Pete ?
Nice, gentle-paced video, Tudor. I live in the Western outskirts of London and Ruislip woods, a large area of woodland is within walking distance. Your video has encouraged me to get out there and take some shots with my basic but very functional Nikon D3100. By the way what camera do you use for vlogging may I ask?
I gave my D3100 to my granddaughter when we bought the D3200. She still uses hers and as you can see I’m still getting a lot of joy out of mine. They’re really handy cameras. For vlogging I use a mk1 DJI Osmo Pocket with a recent addition of a Røde wireless mic and transmitter. I also sometimes use my GoPro7 to video.
Yeah, do a slide show with a voiceover. That's exactly what I'm doing at the end of my third holiday video to make it up to 30 mins. So do it before I do! 😅
Nice of you to say. I’ve been at it now (on this channel) since the 2020 lockdowns. I still have to think hard about settings and I still make schoolboy errors but the fun is in the learning. Still not accomplished enough to sell my images or even upgrade my kit but I love photography as a hobby 👍📷
great idea Tudor looking forward to the midweek slot. Enjoyed todays walk and chat, and photos of course!
That was a lovely lazy walk in the countryside.I started with a D3200 now using a D7200.Until next week.
Sounds like a great progression step. I’d like to upgrade but still considering a better second hand NIKON.

Favourite time of year!
Mine too!
Great video, I also get excited once the leaves start to change.
It's an exciting time for photography - especially if the right light appears!

Nice set of photos, Tudor, I wonder how long the temptation will take hold and you have to have the new camera.🤑
You know it’s going to happen one day Martin 🤣

I don’t think I’ve ever used a Pentax. You clearly have some experience with that brand 👍

Zoom with your feet - I like that phrase 👍
A 35mm prime? That could be a great challenge.

Ha! I'd better get my act together then 👍
Well, I'm so busy it'll probably take me another month but FAIR WARNING! 🤓
nice, what camera model ?
Thanks. It’s the Nikon D3200.
@@TudorSmithPhotography thanks, mine is a D5500
but I am not as acomplished as you are, still a beginner lol
I’ve been looking at the D5500.
