    For trying to break the trackrecord, just this event, the RPM were pushed up to 19.000 !!! (source Klaas Zwart personally)

    i absolutely love the v10 era of formula one. it produced some of the most exciting racing ever seen in the sport.

    That is Klaas Zwart driver and owner of the Jaguar R5, its still got the original Cosworth V10 but detuned to about 650bhp @16000rpm.
    He mostly wins when the car is running well in the BOSS Gp, nobody can keep up with it.

    I remember when Eddie Irvine was driving the Jaguar at Monaco and a couple of English blokes had made themselves green team shirts with "Irvine - Shaguar" on them :-)

      nothing worse backmarkers not knowing blues! Perhaps he thought it was the red one behind him tbf so he moved off racing line. then the green thing appeared on his right side. nearly very expensive bill

    He properly spanked that thing. I saw 5 GP races in that era. They literally hurt your ears. Saw Schumacher not touch his brakes until the 50ft brake marker down from 170 in the rain during practice at Indy. Changed my life...

    That guy was on it ever corner you could see the change of direction and the acceleration off the corners was fantastic. Reminds me of Moto Gp

      I grew up in St Kilda as a kid just down the road fom Albert Park track and man that was my favourite day of the year other than Christmas. The sound from my backyard was a symphony.

      Gonna see this car tomorrow in assen at tabac classic gp. Saw this car there last year he had a problem with his car so he started a lap down he unlapped himself and pushed him to p3. It wasn't the most competitive field but he was flying for sure

    wao this is the first video that i can actually feel the real sound output of the V10 cars like if i am there just there, look at those guys in the circuit putting their hands on their head for the sound lol

      I still remember my first F1 V10 sound in SPA, till that moment I had no idea that even high pitch sounds and not only bass could be felt in your chest and lungs :) Amazing sounds !

    I was there on sunday 16/7. Amazing sound. That's how a F1 car should sound. But how come that there were only about 7 cars racing?? Boss GP is normally more than that. Anyone?

      i wouldn’t say the modern f1 is crap its just the stupid engine rules, halo controversy, the fia and the v6 hybrid
      but id say the racing is very good and worth watching

    Not sure what parts he has available but that's an odd wing setup for Zolder. Probably a Spa or Montreal wing set. No wonder it looked a little hairy.

      I would say he is a semi-pro or a very good gentleman racer. He has been racing in these older F1's for many years.
      He also owns the Ascai race resort in Spain.
