Spot on! I started out my life as a composer and arranger of modern jazz. THat was at the time when Miles et al invented Cool Jazz. All this to say that having studied the classics and arranged for the the local TV octet. I know a thing or two about music. Switched to IT because I couldn't feed my family by exploring the new world of music."Too young to get married..." Anyway, I entirely agree with you that Hiromi is the only musician I know whjo has truly assimilated both classics and jazz and has come out with a new innovative mix unparalleled in the music scene. Her mastery of the keyboard is unreal and her counterpoint between drums, base and piano is the work of genius. A Big Responsibility to carry on such frail shoulders...
