Strong open spikers and a steady setter. weakness - Floor coverage and service reception. They also have weak opposite spiker so they need to find someone to fill that void. ADU strength - They have powerful wing spikers (open and opp). Their floor coverage is impeccable and they are good in receiving and digging. They also have a smart setter. weakness - Attack variation. Their setter is smart so I hope she can distribute the ball as there will be a tendency that Nitura may experience fatigue. Key Players: Nitura: She is by far, the next Bella and Angel that I see who can achieve the Rookie MVP in college volleyball. She's smart and an all around player. Marsh: She's tall and a powerful spiker. She just need variation of her attacks and to be consistent. She has the tendency to commit more error. Nakakatuwa na ibat ibang team na ngayon ang umuusbong as powerhouse. Wala na yung puro lang FEU-UST, ADMU-DLSU, NU-UST. Marami na tayong young players na if yung namumuno sa Philippine volleyball ay talagang may malasakit sa sports nato, gagawa sila ng National Tgeam from a Grassroot level just like what Thailand, Korea and Japan are doing.
Very explosive and unstoppable Shaina Nitura! Hope she will play with the AdU Lady Falcons next season. Her form & power is a combination of Valdez & Rondina. She's an all around player, offense & defense, simply amazing!
No offence to Aly but Nitura is way better. Nitura is an all around player compare to Aly. Aly is a smart and a strong spiker and server but she has poor receiving and digging skills. Nitura on the other hand can almost do anything pertaining to volleyball.
Four sets lang ang natalo ng ADU in all their games this season. Not even losing a single game. What a team. Nitura is an all around player. Parang si Gabi or si Jordan Larson. San kaya sya mag cocollege. Truly phenomenal player.
Against NU pa sila nag 5 sets nung regulation. Yung nakita ko yung thumb mark sa yt na adu vs nu, for sure panalo na Nu since they have proven na malakas yung grassroots nila, not scanning their reg season, tas sabi ng commentator undefeated daw isang team na kala ko NU yun pero nabigla ako ADU pala tas nakita ko puro sweep grabe! Lakas nung Nitura parang mala eya yung form nya sana lang talaga mag stay sya sa ADU program lalo na malaki chance na manalo sila ng 1st championship. Huge fan ng adu eversince Benting, Pau Soriano, Jema Galanza! Their trademark was digging than offense.
