Im Hyunsik - sub-vocal, he has a deep speaking voice but sings both high and low notes :))) Lee Changsub - sub vocal, his voice sounds heaven hahaha he does musicals, too. lately, they've admitted that they dropped the label of sub and main vocals already because they are all good singers and each voice is different. they said they're all main vocal now. :) THANK YOU FOR REACTING TO BTOB. 💙

However, as of 2018, EK is main vocalist and the other three are classified as lead vocalists. And BtoB themselves say they are all main vocals. And the line distribution of songs since 2016 reflects the status of main vocals for all of the vocal line. Generally main and lead vocals get far more lines or important parts of the song than vocalists and sub-vocalists it BtoB line distribution is pretty even between all the vocalists in the group unless one member is really busy then they will lower the line distribution to make it easier on that vocalist.

Yes. Sungjae and him are in baritone. He also asign for bass. While Eunkwang and Changsub is falsetto. But hyunsik and Sungjae can do dolphin sounds, or octave(? Is that the term?). BTOB's When It Rains at 3:44 that was Sungjae dolphin voice.

You've quickly become one of my favorite channels just for vocal reactions and analysis because you actually take the time to break things down instead of the typical "oh wow a high note" comments and variety outside of kpop. Back with another little context snippet for you! BtoB is definitely one of the vocal powerhouse male groups in Korea, although they debuted with more poppy dance tracks, I think it was maybe 2016-2017 where they had 3 comebacks of power ballads. They were always a mid-tier group, but their vocal skills in their ballad comebacks, along with individual members' activities, really helped pushed them more into the main spotlight.
I thinks too, their 2016-2018 comeback are the best, but many people prefer their pop dance song. I prefer when they sing ballads because they show their talent.
Its actually in 2015. From ballad trilogy it's okay and way back home. Then followed by remember that on early 2016 + stand by me (vocal line debut) till I'll be your man on late 2016.

Thank you for doing a video on BTOB! They are one of my all time favourite groups and I absolutely love their voices, so it’s really interesting to hear what an expert thinks of them! Also they have 3 rappers in the group (who didn’t appear in the video) who can also sing pretty well.
