My forces are validated for 2 years straight 🤣. But seriously, after following Avran and tcs tips, my gear and riding progressed to the moon! ty good sirs.
I love these videos. I and many people get stuck in a company biased buying habit. Im a union fan boy but this gives me the perspective of a few bindings to check out in the future. Thanks as always, love the videos!
Been really happy with my fix magnum. Had them for 4 seasons, 60 plus days per. They have Been extremely solid and seem to handle anything I throw at them. I did swap out the straps for union ones, but that was just a preference thing since I already had them laying around (prob wouldn’t have swapped them if I had to pay for new ones lol). Stoked to see the rb1 on here, confirms that I should try them for my next pair.
Using the Union Classic for the second season. They are fantastic. Very curious to the newer version but that will have to wait for a few seasons till m done with the classic. Can only imagine it being even better. I hope a little damper and a little lighter. The only two tiny-tiny things I would want the classics to have - not that they are not good. It's just a nicer to have kind of thing.
I currently run the NOW brigade bindings. They have skate tech as well. Pretty cool tech that i definitely notice. Im looking at yes bindings now. Which is the same company i know..but i do want to see a review in the new fase bindings. I know you get products early, give me a hint if that review will come when they come out..
I have the Union force in my basket when this video goes live. only didn`t pull the trigger yet, because I still doubt the size. What do you suggest M or L on a salomon 10,5 boot? Apprieciate it!
Biggest complaint about jones mercury is the toe strap dont seem to lock into a wider toe box. Hoping their 3d flex replacement strap can fix this issue if i can find one in stock...
And the footbed is huge. And The heel side of the footbed always popped up and never stayed down half the time either. Truly don’t understand the hype behind these. Union ultra or force a million times better
@@Tyler_R91 The footbed being huge yes, it's a bit annoying, but it not being down at the back is not something I notice at all when riding. I mean, I'm standing on it so that pretty much pushes it down... But they're canted which is something I find to be really nice
The union forces were THE binding to have in the early 2010’s and they still are to this day. The gold standard for workhorse bindings for sure. Just got the force classics with the team high back in white. LOVE them
Have they made them lighter than the ones in the early 2010's? I had a pair, but switched to Contact Pro eventually. I tried upgrading to Now Drive Jeremy Jones, but only liked the cushioning and how they looked. My riding got worse before I got used to them. I put them back on ebay. Not sure what to do now.
@@1Flyingfist i picked up a 25 ultrafear and with the new bindings it feels pretty damn light, i also have the contact pro/ crab grab collab, I ran them with the Rome hammerhead and it was a wicked fun set up with so much flex. I barely weigh 120 so I don’t like stiffer set ups. A buddy of mine was ski patrol at killington for years, he had some of forces and he still has them and they still function perfectly. He’s a big fella too.
I'm looking for something that drives harder then my Ultras while being More flexible laterally than my A8s, ideally while being closer in weight to the Ultras. Anything on this list stand out for that? Looking at the Blaster Asym
Which size to get with 41 Boot size for the Union Force? Will the medium be a bit big since its on the lowest end of it? Should I go for S or M what would you say? Thank you!
Got the Mercury on mine and that works great, as the board is wide, which means you benefit from the Skate Tech and the humongous footbed does not stick out much.
Are Burton bindings shit or is there another reason I never see them here? I have some cartels that get the job done but wondering if they actually suck lol
@@kevinhfoster But, think for yourself and try other bindings out. I know several people, including myself, who have been disappointed by other bindings (some that might be on this list) and come back to cartels. There is a reason a lot of people in the comments are bringing them up.
Nothing wrong with the Cartels/cartel X at all. They lack a lot of the technology/adjustability of some other brands but they are a solid reliable binding.
I have the cartel X est on a Burton board. I thought I would love them but no..I prefer my other bindings. Salomon quantum and nitro....a bit disappointed.
I have Burton bindings among others.... Salomon, nitro etc...they are the one I like the least. Except for the genesis , I don't like them. I ride them on a Burton because I think Burton boards flex better with E.S.T . Other than that...I am not impressed.
I absolutely love the Nitro Team bindings ever since they changed the straps from the padded ones.
My favorite workhorse binding is the Rometaleon Black Astro Label Asyms

Just installed my new Forces. Can't wait to try them out!
Been riding cartels for years and just papped them on the new bataleon Goliath board. Pairing made in heaven for me.
Can't wait for the Jones with the FASE system next year.
The force is the force
I knew a Fix would make the list.
Great job, Thanks for sharing. Cheers.

Could you please tell me the difference between the Blaster Asym and the Katana? They appear quite similar.
From what I know, Vice is more similar to Blaster and Katana to Astro. I have the Astro and its a good binding.
Straps, highback and footpad.
have you seen those bone bindings? might need a psa about knees for them
Nitro team pros are sick
I’m interested to hear why you choose the team over the team pro for this list?
Watch the review on it.

Medium. I large don’t fit well with 10.5

the 3d flex one locks either my Ions or my Verses boot really well , no issue at all

Should I wait for the fase for the jones mercury?
Depends if you want a fast entry option. -TC
I definitely am!
Still waiting for my Clews’ validation 😅
Going to be waiting till hell freezes over and we die.
@@alanpoon1883 your mom validates it. Hah gottem
@angrysnowboarder Well it snowed in Florida more than some places out west this month 😂
i have 2 forces and love them both, got the atlas for a powder board and miss my forces
Where can i buy one of those hoodies? Would look sweet in black or dark grey

I had force SL's in 2009 I think and they were terrible. The ratchets kept releasing in mid air when tweaking grabs 😮

Real Nice Broseph Gordon Levitt.. real nice...
Blaster or Astro?

They made all their bindings softer, haven't invested in any real technological advancements, and they're mediocre at best.

No rome katana?
Aren't those on the stiffer side?
@ianknox7938 little bit but still a good overall flex, not to stiff
Surprised Cartels aren’t on this list. I know people aren’t always super in to Burton, but they’re good bindings

What ya didn't add the new rotational lol
If someone signs up for the knee replacement tier he'll make TC try it out
Crazy a workhorse binding line up without cartels…..I mean in no burton fan but still
Burton Cartel ftw, if they break you know every shop is going to have the parts to fix them.
