When Jesus healed Shula, I was bawling crying. I’m a 6’ 240lb construction worker, I don’t cry often. This show makes me want to seek Jesus more than I ever have. Praying for all of my brothers and sisters, I love you all! 🙏🏼
We had to watch it twice. Once on live stream and then again with closed-captioning on so we didn’t miss anything. What an episode. Our son Ben is 30 yrs old. He has never spoken in his life. I had a dream a month ago that he was healed. When Jesus heals the mute man, I burst into tears. Nothing is impossible with God!
Use the Authority Jesus gave to us as Believers..Bind the "Deaf and Dumb" spirit that has kept your son from speaking..command it to leave in the Mighty name of Jesus..I will pray for you both
Second time now it has happened. All it took was seeing "You are mine" for a fraction of a second on someone's merch, and tears began to flood my eyes. That scene from the very first episode is iconic. Mary Magdalene had never even seen Jesus. She was essentially dead, darkness consuming her on the inside. But Jesus' first words to her (other than calling her by name, which of course is also incredibly iconic) were, "You are MINE!" SUCH a powerful, gracious statement! And I hear him saying that to me (and to each of us): "You are mine! You are not your own (although with me you will be MORE your own than you possibly can imagine); you do not belong to any other spiritual power. Before the world was even created, I purchased you with my own blood. You have always been mine. You ARE mine, now and forever, and NOTHING can ever pull you from my presence!" How can I not weep for joy?!
This was, without a doubt, the most moving and insightful scenario in the whole series so far. It makes me cry every time that I see it. From her childhood recitation, to the Lord recuing her, she was truly chosen.

My 7year old daughter was watching this morning and she said I really love this show mom. And when Jesus healed Shula the excitement in her voice brought me to tears. Then while Dallas was talking about it being in theaters she ran and told me and wants to see it in theaters. Thank you. This show changed my life and my walk with Christ and now my daughter wants to watch from the first episode. What a wonderful way to start my Monday.
Watching "The Chosen" has restored the joy of my salvation. I've been leading adult Bible study for 48 years and have studied/taught much of the scripture repeatedly. This is difficult to put into words and realize this sounds bad. I knew much of the scripture, including a lot of the Hebrew and Greek lexicon, but had lost some of the deep appreciation for and spiritual significance of the events recorded therein. My wife conveyed the same thing. Watching The Chosen together has made the scripture come alive again for us and stoked the insatiable hunger for God's Word that we have not experienced in many years. We are again FOLLOWING Jesus by doing, rather than just hearing, enthusiastically ministering to others as a couple with a renewed love for our savior. I've already purchased our tickets for the theater showing of episodes 7-8. Thank you for ministering to us in our time of need.

Ever since watching it for the first time in one of my friend’s small group, I knew I would not stop watching The Chosen. I have been through a lot from the end of 2021 and beginning of 2023. The Chosen has helpers me every step of the way. As someone called into ministry to be a young adult Pastor, seeing The chosen has help me get a visual of the Bible. It has helped me understand the Gospels much better and in a deeper way. I am so grateful for The Chosen, for the after shows and Chris and Jalein. I am so grateful for the deep dives. I’m so grateful for the Devotionals and booms you came out with. The Chosen has helped me grow closer to God and get deeper in His Word. Let's all keep deep in scripture study. REAL STUDY not just simple reading as the word is spiritual and it changes lives! PRAYER is so important! Communication through prayer is 2 way. We have to have a personal relationship with our Father God through the Holy Spirit. He speaks , He leads us. It's so KEY to do His will. Don't assume we know His will. Consencrated life shown in Romans 6 is not easy , killing the flesh. BIBLE SCHOOL is good BUT useless without deciding to live for Christ. He will teach you things you won't learn in church or school.
I am so grateful that Jesus chose me to follow Him & having a personal relationship with my creator, our Lord. His tender mercies & promises have provided me with all my needs & His grace is sufficient for me. The need for emotional healing can be very difficult & painful, yet I know without a doubt, like little James, my healing is in His will & I am learning the importance of "perseverance" & I will receive my rewards in my eternal home in heaven. Thank you Dallas; God has gifted you with such special talents & it makes me recall Mathew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven". I think it’s important to find Love. Love him for even peaking into this and taking that step, to get uncomfortable to challenge his thoughts. Let them find their way on their own. Show him that Jesus is “Pure Love”. Faith is unconditional love for Christ. The real reason Christ came was Love. Let that love enter your heart and minds. All of you. Let it flow into your mind and souls. And you will see things and feel things on a completely different level. Love is the Answer!!
Let's all keep deep in scripture study. REAL STUDY not just simple reading as the word is spiritual and it changes lives! PRAYER is so important! Communication through prayer is 2 way. We have to have a personal relationship with our Father God through the Holy Spirit. He speaks , He leads us. It's so KEY to do His will. Don't assume we know His will. Consencrated life shown in Romans 6 is not easy , killing the flesh. BIBLE SCHOOL is good BUT useless without deciding to live for Christ. He will teach you things you won't learn in church or school.

I have cried tbrough many parts of the episodes while watching on the app. I downloaded it from facebook about a month ago. This episode though blew me away. On a personal level when he healed Shula's eyes I lost it because that webt past just showing mercy to the children of israel. She wasn't asking for anything and she loved him and was devoted. To me that touched on those of us christians who have been faithful to the Lord and yet sickness - even blindness- can happen. I found nyself crying out how much I loved Jesus not the actor but the Lord Jesus. I saw my faith in Him as healer increasing a lot.

I cried, really cried when Jesus healed Shula, but prior to that, she expressed her strong faith in Him, and didn't bother asking to be healed because she knows Jesus has lots of things to do for other people... what a strong faith Shula has. "It is time Shula." Then healing Barnaby too, even he told Jesus "some other time." Have faith, Lord is always with us.
From Mayfield,KY, and we love this series. It is so relatable and real. This is NOT a movie trying to be a 100% Biblical portrayal. This is art and its theme is Biblical. Many people can relate to these stories because of the "realness"! You won't regret watching.
Right. It does exactly what the last page of the Bible tells it not to. Do not take or add to the book. They could make their own story up about a holy man, that'd be cool..but they didn't... They used Jesus for clout and then changed stories for "dramatic effect" There are plenty of scriptures that they could have used. Instead, they've made reality into a "story".. Great show. As long as you remember it IS a show.
@@ekawa5094 That line in Revelation of "do not take or add to the book" applies to any reproduction of the Bible that take away or add to the scriptures. However, it doesn't apply to a dramatization because by default, no show about Jesus will ever be accurate - soon as they cast the main character. Drama in its essence is an artform. The gospel of John did say that Jesus did many other things that were not recorded, so that's where Dallas applied his artistic license. That makes this series fall under the genre of historical fiction.

Some people, will never pick up the Book, will never try to read it, especially in this age of information all on video. They said the episode was about the blind man the people begged Jesus to heal, yet the episode wasn't about that at all.. taking creative liberty is one thing. I watched it on the Angel Studio app. I had so many emotions and so many parts I loved. I know I’ll be watching it again.Thanking God for giving and inspiring Dallas, all the other writers, actors and really all the staff on and off the set for creating such a great biblical show. It draws us closer to seeking in scripture, helps us to realize how relatable we all are to so many people in the Bible. More importantly it draws people to either come to know Jesus and accept Him, or to seek Him more earnestly in their lives so than can have a deeper walk with Jesus. The Bible is not just a bunch of stories, it’s God’s History Book and I love His history lessons! To God be all the glory!

Just getting started this evening. Can't wait! I'm a full-time cross-country RV traveler, in Pennsylvania. Was in California and Arizona last month. Will be in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida soon. The Chosen is with me the whole way; it's one of my communities. I can't find words for how much The Chosen has given me images of grace.

Let's all keep deep in scripture study. REAL STUDY not just simple reading as the word is spiritual and it changes lives! PRAYER is so important! Communication through prayer is 2 way. We have to have a personal relationship with our Father God through the Holy Spirit. He speaks , He leads us. It's so KEY to do His will. Don't assume we know His will. Consencrated life shown in Romans 6 is not easy , killing the flesh. BIBLE SCHOOL is good BUT useless without deciding to live for Christ. He will teach you things you won't learn in church or school.

I am a huge fan of 'The Chosen' series. I am from North Carolina, and I do not even remember a time in my life that I did not believe in God, or our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This series has brought Jesus to life in many more ways than at any point in my life. Thank you for your dedication and hard work. I hope this series eventually reaches billions.
I loved how in the miracle healing moment with Shula, holding back her pride in self reliance that we all have, Yeshua said “Look at me (this is deep)” which is basically “LOOK UP, surrender all you are for what could be”. Just as Healer Savior said to Mary, Peter, others. It reminds me of “alright, have you come to the end of yourself and what you can recover from on your own?”
Simon and Edith's scene was real life, in the midst of you having joy other people are hurting. People don't want to share their pain because they don't want to ruin the joy or be a burden by sharing theirs. So good job in reminding us to ask the people around us how they are doing

I've watched this episode 4 times since Sunday and every time I hear something that I've missed before. There is nothing in this episode that you cannnot not get something out of. Every single part of this episode tugs a different part in my heart and my mind that I can't stop thinking how much it moved me and learned from them. I pray that God continues blessing people thru this series and keep inspiring Dallas and his team beyond their expectations.

Second time now it has happened. All it took was seeing "You are mine" for a fraction of a second on someone's merch, and tears began to flood my eyes. That scene from the very first episode is iconic. Mary Magdalene had never even seen Jesus. She was essentially dead, darkness consuming her on the inside. But Jesus' first words to her (other than calling her by name, which of course is also incredibly iconic) were, "You are MINE!" SUCH a powerful, gracious statement! And I hear him saying that to me (and to each of us): "You are mine! You are not your own (although with me you will be MORE your own than you possibly can imagine); you do not belong to any other spiritual power. Before the world was even created, I purchased you with my own blood. You have always been mine. You ARE mine, now and forever, and NOTHING can ever pull you from my presence!" How can I not weep for joy?!

Watching "The Chosen" has restored the joy of my salvation. I've been leading adult Bible study for 48 years and have studied/taught much of the scripture repeatedly. This is difficult to put into words and realize this sounds bad. I knew much of the scripture, including a lot of the Hebrew and Greek lexicon, but had lost some of the deep appreciation for and spiritual significance of the events recorded therein. My wife conveyed the same thing. Watching The Chosen together has made the scripture come alive again for us and stoked the insatiable hunger for God's Word that we have not experienced in many years. We are again FOLLOWING Jesus by doing, rather than just hearing, enthusiastically ministering to others as a couple with a renewed love for our savior. I've already purchased our tickets for the theater showing of episodes 7-8. Thank you for ministering to us in our time of need.

Let's all keep deep in scripture study. REAL STUDY not just simple reading as the word is spiritual and it changes lives! PRAYER is so important! Communication through prayer is 2 way. We have to have a personal relationship with our Father God through the Holy Spirit.
He speaks , He leads us. It's so KEY to do His will. Don't assume we know His will.
Consencrated life shown in Romans 6 is not easy , killing the flesh. BIBLE SCHOOL is good BUT useless without deciding to live for Christ. He will teach you things you won't learn in church or school.
I am so grateful that Jesus chose me to follow Him & having a personal relationship with my creator, our Lord. His tender mercies & promises have provided me with all my needs & His grace is sufficient for me.
The need for emotional healing can be very difficult & painful, yet I know without a doubt, like little James, my healing is in His will & I am learning the importance of "perseverance" & I will receive my rewards in my eternal home in heaven.
Thank you Dallas; God has gifted you with such special talents & it makes me recall Mathew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven".

I think it’s important to find Love. Love him for even peaking into this and taking that step, to get uncomfortable to challenge his thoughts. Let them find their way on their own. Show him that Jesus is “Pure Love”. Faith is unconditional love for Christ. The real reason Christ came was Love. Let that love enter your heart and minds. All of you. Let it flow into your mind and souls. And you will see things and feel things on a completely different level. Love is the Answer!!
Let's all keep deep in scripture study. REAL STUDY not just simple reading as the word is spiritual and it changes lives! PRAYER is so important! Communication through prayer is 2 way. We have to have a personal relationship with our Father God through the Holy Spirit.
He speaks , He leads us. It's so KEY to do His will. Don't assume we know His will.
Consencrated life shown in Romans 6 is not easy , killing the flesh. BIBLE SCHOOL is good BUT useless without deciding to live for Christ. He will teach you things you won't learn in church or school.

I have cried tbrough many parts of the episodes while watching on the app. I downloaded it from facebook about a month ago. This episode though blew me away. On a personal level when he healed Shula's eyes I lost it because that webt past just showing mercy to the children of israel. She wasn't asking for anything and she loved him and was devoted. To me that touched on those of us christians who have been faithful to the Lord and yet sickness - even blindness- can happen. I found nyself crying out how much I loved Jesus not the actor but the Lord Jesus. I saw my faith in Him as healer increasing a lot.
The "You Are Mine" from Isiah blew me away in season 1. He found me again and I am ever grateful for the message. Thank You!!

I cried, really cried when Jesus healed Shula, but prior to that, she expressed her strong faith in Him, and didn't bother asking to be healed because she knows Jesus has lots of things to do for other people... what a strong faith Shula has. "It is time Shula." Then healing Barnaby too, even he told Jesus "some other time." Have faith, Lord is always with us.
From Mayfield,KY, and we love this series. It is so relatable and real. This is NOT a movie trying to be a 100% Biblical portrayal. This is art and its theme is Biblical. Many people can relate to these stories because of the "realness"! You won't regret watching.
Right. It does exactly what the last page of the Bible tells it not to. Do not take or add to the book.
They could make their own story up about a holy man, that'd be cool..but they didn't... They used Jesus for clout and then changed stories for "dramatic effect"
There are plenty of scriptures that they could have used. Instead, they've made reality into a "story"..

@@ekawa5094 That line in Revelation of "do not take or add to the book" applies to any reproduction of the Bible that take away or add to the scriptures.
However, it doesn't apply to a dramatization because by default, no show about Jesus will ever be accurate - soon as they cast the main character.
Drama in its essence is an artform. The gospel of John did say that Jesus did many other things that were not recorded, so that's where Dallas applied his artistic license. That makes this series fall under the genre of historical fiction.

1000 years from now, the people will not know Dallas Jenkins, they will not know if this was a dramatized version of a "story" OR if it was something people TRULY believed - just look at the praise given for this show... Reading it far removed from the "reality" you all buy, no one will be able to differentiate between the true faith and the lies, because, that is what this show does, it lies about what happened. Now we can color it with pretty words if we want, but a lie is still a lie.
Christ spoke openly about the evils of money, told all His followers to leave that life behind and only follow Him... Instead you all are "followers" like on so-show-media - fanboying and applauding anything to do with His name.. that's a travesty. Really. A tragedy.
Some people, will never pick up the Book, will never try to read it, especially in this age of information all on video. They said the episode was about the blind man the people begged Jesus to heal, yet the episode wasn't about that at all.. taking creative liberty is one thing. Changing the storyline to suit some emotional drama is quite another.
Either way, doesn't matter. The blind don't see and the deaf do not hear.. you and i are not going to agree. You support Romans ways. I support God's.

I watched it on the Angel Studio app. I had so many emotions and so many parts I loved. I know I’ll be watching it again.Thanking God for giving and inspiring Dallas, all the other writers, actors and really all the staff on and off the set for creating such a great biblical show. It draws us closer to seeking in scripture, helps us to realize how relatable we all are to so many people in the Bible. More importantly it draws people to either come to know Jesus and accept Him, or to seek Him more earnestly in their lives so than can have a deeper walk with Jesus. The Bible is not just a bunch of stories, it’s God’s History Book and I love His history lessons! To God be all the glory!

Just getting started this evening. Can't wait! I'm a full-time cross-country RV traveler, in Pennsylvania. Was in California and Arizona last month. Will be in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida soon. The Chosen is with me the whole way; it's one of my communities. I can't find words for how much The Chosen has given me images of grace.
That's pretty cool. I've watched the Chosen in a number of different states as well! I love how we can all watch and hopefully draw closer to Jesus all across the world !

Let's all keep deep in scripture study. REAL STUDY not just simple reading as the word is spiritual and it changes lives! PRAYER is so important! Communication through prayer is 2 way. We have to have a personal relationship with our Father God through the Holy Spirit.
He speaks , He leads us. It's so KEY to do His will. Don't assume we know His will.
Consencrated life shown in Romans 6 is not easy , killing the flesh. BIBLE SCHOOL is good BUT useless without deciding to live for Christ. He will teach you things you won't learn in church or school.

I am a huge fan of 'The Chosen' series. I am from North Carolina, and I do not even remember a time in my life that I did not believe in God, or our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I loved how in the miracle healing moment with Shula, holding back her pride in self reliance that we all have, Yeshua said “Look at me (this is deep)” which is basically “LOOK UP, surrender all you are for what could be”. Just as Healer Savior said to Mary, Peter, others.
It reminds me of “alright, have you come to the end of yourself and what you can recover from on your own?”
Simon and Edith's scene was real life, in the midst of you having joy other people are hurting. People don't want to share their pain because they don't want to ruin the joy or be a burden by sharing theirs. So good job in reminding us to ask the people around us how they are doing

Many simply don't know it or think it sounds too good to be true, BUT IT IS TRUE AND HE LOVES YOU SO MUCH THAT HE MADE A WAY FOR EACH OF US TO COME TO THE THRONE ROOM OF HIS AND OUR FATHER GOD AND FIND PEACE AND LOVE IN, WITH HIM! All we need to is confess Jesus is Lord and believe God raised Him from the grave and death! And you will not believe the difference at first! It was all done for you!
My Muslim friend. If you want to know what Christianity is like read the Bible starting with Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. You will encounter the REAL Jesus there. Ask God to reveal the real Christ to you.

When we first started watching The Chosen, we couldn't wait to get right to watching the movie and so we would always bypass the intro when you were talking, but it's funny because tonight as we were getting ready to watch episode 6 we made the comment that the Lord couldn't have picked a better person to start the show off, and now we are finding ourself enjoying listening to you almost as much as the series, and we look forward to the after show as well. These Episodes of Chosen are so emotional, as i am crying all the time with the different people who are suffering in one way or another, as Jesus is so full of love and compassion in all he meets, that i hope he asks me to follow him, which i would in a heart beat, as he is my saviour.
Wow! This show draws me deeper in love with Jesus. The love that enfolds in this production makes me forget that I’m a spectator! Thank you 🙏❤️🙏
