- In this Thailand travel vlog we will show you how easy or difficult 😉 is to travel from Koh Mak to Bangkok. We have travelled from Koh Mak by Boonsiri high speed ferry and even though we did moan a bit during the travel day we have decided this was well organised and worth the price we have paid (1100 baht per person).

Interesting vlog Danny & Diggy, your stay looked a very relaxing and welcoming one, and the facilities looked good. Plenty to do pool, table tennis, bar football, and the bar of course. Shame about the times of catamaran, but you got another. The crossing was a calm one for Diggy 👍. Coach journey seemed OK, and there was plenty of leg room and space. I'm glad you guys got back to Bangkok okay and weren't too stressed out by the journey. I'm looking forward to further adventures from you guys. Always superb content, which is interesting, informative, and makes good viewing. Thank you, as I know Danny and Diggy work hard to strive to show us the best footage. 🥰😍🩷👍

Love Koh Mak less than 1000 people my second time here .Great snorkeling relax kinda place and easy to moto around .next koh Kood.

Those long travel days are always an adventure. You guys made it look pretty easy. We definitely need to look at Koh Mak as one of our Thai travel destinations.

If you have extra time, I would recommend a trip to Koh Kood, Trat Province, which is close to Koh Mak. There is a clear sea like Koh Mak. Accommodation prices are cheaper there and the locals are very kind. I have been traveling We snorkeled to see the coral, it was very beautiful. I would like to recommend it when you visit again. I saw this clip of you and it made me want to go again. I am a Thai person living in Bangkok.

Well done Diggy with coping on the boat. I share your concerns about the boat safety as well. Long distance bus and mini vans are not for the fainthearted either 😨. Glad you both made it safely back to Bangkok. 😃

Koh Mak used to be very cheap because of simple bamboo bungalows with fans and quite popular amongst backpackers. Too bad that vibe seems to be gone now.
You will still find places like that on Koh Mak 🏝👍🥥🌴

Loved your videos of Koh Mak. Were you bothered by sand flies at all as have heard they can be a problem there.
We did 1st evening but then we used coconut oil and bugs spray and we were ok 👍😉

Hi Danny & Diggy! love the warmth in your videos. I m researching for my trip to Koh Chang, Mak and Kood this April. I didn't get it how you were still able to catch your 2:30 pm bus when you said you were too late already and there was no catamaran in time. Could you please help me on that in some more detail please? Secondly, how to reach Koh Mak directly from the mainland pier without having to disembark on Koh Chang?
Hey, we did not make for the 2.30pm bus we had to buy new ticket on Koh Mak 👍
We did go from Koh Chang to Koh mak so no idea how to get to koh mak from the main land, check Google 👍😊 or in one of our Koh Mak vlogs there is a link to the transport company they might have tickets available but not sure

Bus was super nice yes 👍 best bus we have been on in Thailand 🇹🇭 and there was a bathroom but we did not use it

I just left koh Chang and met in Bkk a thai woman that recently had been in koh Mak. She told me the ferry itself is 500baht, which does 1000baht both ways which can compare to 80x2 baht to Chang.
Can you confirm this, as hiden prices are never revealed in videos like these supposed to be informative?
Price and booking website in description of the video.
We bought package and we had to come back in exact time so there was only 1 option for us, we did not check other options as not relevant to our travel plans.
