One thing I love about Hindi is that you can count the number of common irregular verbs on one hand! Despite all the vocab being very different, I found the grammar aspects of Hindi pretty approachable as an English speaker.
Best way to learn any language is TOTAL IMMERSION . So learn by Writing sentences . That way you are engaging different parts of brain , thus maximising learning .
Hindi is a national language for India as majority of Indians speak and understand hindi. Learning hindi itself is like a nector. It is very sweet and beautiful language. 2:12 in sanskrit the 'a' is always there on the consonant but i was told that in Hindi it is not always....here the transliteration shows that the 'a' is here ka-ra-taa...it's not kartaa? the woman doesn't pronounce the 'a' she seems to say kartaa
Don't know much abt Sanskrit but in Hindi it's karta, which means to do. If you say it as karata it would actually change the meaning. It would them mean to make someone else do something.
Pinch your nose and say "Land", that's the nasal sound you make when you say "Hain". In fact, the La- sound in Land sounds almost exactly like "hain" just different consonants.
Also, Hai and "Hey" are similar. Absolutely no nasal sound. The letter N is used to express a nasal sound in general after vowels when Hindi is written in the Roman alphabet.
