I get the anxiety that comes with plastic bags, what I do to avoid as much plastic as possible is to not put bags where are not really needed (usually the bathroom's and the bedroom's trashcans) and if there is a trashcan that really needs something, I use instead some newspaper to cover it. I also track every little thing I do, I put in my google calendar. From important things like work, zoom meetings, date with a friend, to shampooing my hair, what I eat, even poop 🙊 I love reflecting on how I spend my time everyday. And tracking in google calendar makes it easier for me to recall something like when was the last time I ate my fav burger from this joint etc.
This winter I am looking forward to being home. I have not been home since 2017, 1 February. We recently (2021, 21 February) moved back home and I am so super grateful to be back. It feels amazing. I almost forgot what it feels like to feel at home and be able to just relax and enjoy it. And to just have my spirit be at peace. It's such a foreign feeling to me. But it is also welcome. I have had this weird feeling of doom and fear since 2006, it feels good to not feel that anymore.

here at my home we put the trash directly in the trash can and then onto the trash bag (and after we always wash the trash can), we use reusable bags to do the grocerys so we never have those little plastic bags. it's not much but it's a little less plastic going unrecycled

lol yes i literally just got a comment about that but i think i have to keep my room clean because if not it makes my anxiety really bad so it’s like still a response to my mental health just the opposite than the usual
