Satan tactic was to hit you with a question first before he hits you with a lie. He gets you doubt, disbelief and later dis-obey. That's why its important to read your Bible daily and remember God's word in your heart mind and soul.

Ox, cattle, serpent...this makes me think maybe that's why so many Hindu/India worship cattle like they're holy. Idk......just a thought on the teaching
I always thought that Adam was told by God only not to eat of the fruit. Adam took it upon himself to tell Eve also not to touch it and Satan used Adam’s words to trick Eve into eating the fruit from deception.
Gen 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
At least that is why Eve was deceived, and Adam knew what he did. It is my understanding that Adam was not with Eve when she spent her secret times with the serpent. Why would Adam allow his wife to be involved to sin and eat the fruit when he went further to tell her to not even touch it. He saw Eve in her corruption.... saw her in her sin, and took the fruit from her hand and became her mediator. He ate it on purpose to save Eve. I think if Adam declined to eat the fruit, Eve would have been damned in her sin. I understand that Jesus Christ saw that and admired that act so much so that he would do it so much better thousands of years later. Jesus died for us all so that we could all partake and become his bride. Adam separated us, but Jesus brought us back together. Amen, Amen and Amen!!
1Ti 2:13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
1Ti 2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
1Co 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit

Some one tried telling me the KJV is obsolete and that they are a linguist. Then I asked them how can you be a linguist and call literature obsolete? Didn't get an answer.

50 years of Bible reading. You are one of a handful of ministers who actually truthful speak God's word. Enjoy your perspective that is not necessarily mainstream as it is very interesting. Most people in churches that call themselves Christians don't even know anything about the Bible. I am not a calvinist but I really like John MacArthur and John Burnett as they preach the word in the more traditional way yet it is the same word you preach. God does not want us to change the truth in the Bible nor does he want us to not preach it correctly. Very interesting The Way You Preach very interesting indeed. Thank you

Gee, last night I was just wondering, why is the serpent cursed above the cattle? Is the cattle cursed? Is the cattle the lowest form of animal? Why mention cattle with the cursing of the serpent? I was also wondering about Quetzalcoatl the feathered giant serpent of the Meso Americans. Is this the form of the fallen one? Is this the dragon snake? Then I thought about the feathers not being on the belly but only on top, and is this what native feather headdresses used to represent as they start on the head and go down the entire back in two rows, but the meaning has changed over the years.

Well said. I totally agree. Never ever accept wholesale wholeheartedly what anyone teaches or preaches. Always search the scripture yourself to verify whether it is so. Acts 17:11.
Yes, many will defend tooth and nail what they teach and preach and if you try to disagree, they will surely respond angrily and haughtily. 😂😂 😂
For example, some talk so much about keeping the Ten Commandments to stay sinless so that they won’t lose their salvation and if you try to show them it’s now the commandments of the Lord in Paul’s epistles are what we should obey and we already have assurance of salvation, they will scream down at you in such scary hostility!
I would laugh inwardly because for someone who is fixated in obeying the Ten Commandments, he or she has forgotten the 2nd commandments and Jesus’ commandments to love one another. 😜 John 14: 15.

The number one sin of the Bible is idolatry, and the transgression of Genesis 3 is idolatry. The serpent was part of creation and part of the natural world, and all pagan gods are nature deities.
When Satan quotes Psalms 91, hw leaves out some words: For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Thank you for sharing! I found your videos as I'm studying the book of Genesis. Question Pastor Gene. I have the understanding that God created Adam and Eve, but He did not give them a nature that was to live forever nor to live until a day of death. Meaning, God gave them free will to either eat from the tree of life (to become eternal beings?) or to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (become mortal). Is this correct?

I don't mean to be disrespectful by any means. I am actually subscribed to your channel because of the massive punch that you pack behind your preaching. However, I am very confused by others who claim the four living creatures, you are referring to to be the prophetic vision of the 4 gospels. I have also heard, that in the Bible, the word angel, can be bringer of good news. Please respond to this, for I am truly troubled.
