Any pieces that you'd specifically like to see orchestrated?

I think Shostakovich’s Cello Sonata in D Minor would sound brilliant if orchestrated by someone like yourself

Very impressive work! colourful but the colour is at the service of the expression rather than overly colourful for it's own sake - like some orchestrations can be!

You could make a few changes and turn it into a Cello concerto aswell!

Eh I'd say it's not virtuosic enough to be one

how would you compare this, in depth and profundity to the chopin cello sonata?

    anachronistic timpani i think

True. I think I stick to four timpani (maybe I use five at some point). No point in writing for only two if most orchestras now have five.
