The dried corn from this mod pays a very decent amount ! Good choice :) It's just a bit fiddly with trailers as the ceiling is pretty low. Oh and dont' put it too close to a grain silo or it will enter in conflict with its internal storage for dried corn. Cheers
I was looking for a map to try going fully organic on so i had a look at this one after i saw your first episode it was a toss up between this map and Schwaadeheim which is also a great map for me Schwaadeheim won but they are both superb maps, I would love to see how you got on going fully organic it is actually harder than it sounds, no solid fert or herbicide you have to get your animals producing a high amount of natural fertilizer, and i used a weeder for the first time lol. looking forward to yet another great series from you as always.
Jan. 4, 2024 I'm sure you already know this but you might be able to disconnect the swivel trailers and turn the tractor around and reconnect the swivel trailers to the front of the tractor. Much easier to back them in that way. Of course, I would just sell those trailers and replace them with ones the same size but with a solid tongue so you can back them up. The corn dryer looks interesting. Nice maneuvering around the traffic with that corn header. If I remember correctly, the Mud will still cause problems while harvesting for at least 10 minutes AFTER the rain has stopped. Looking forward to the next episode. Thank you sir. Take care.
I would suggest putting your dolly trailers under the shed with the harvester and put the bailer in the shed where they’re at. Then you don’t have to worry about backing up the dolly trailers.
Grain dryers are for more than just corn in real life, and its not that dried corn sells for a premium, its just that high moisture grain gets docked in price.
I've watched Millennial Farmer and it is pretty much this. They will pay less for the high moisture grain at the plant they send a large portion of their corn harvest to. The plant assesses the moisture content at the weighing platform, before it can even be tipped into the silo.
That is because the moisture has to be a certain % to be stored or it will go moldy. The docked price is because the storage centre will have to dry the grain themselves before tipping it into the silo.
Hey daggerwin, little tip for dolly style trailers. Make the smallest adjustments you can to steering. Should be a lot easier with your wheel setup. Also you can put the 12 row Capello on the DF combine.
That’s great. I honestly didn’t even realize your title joke until the end of the episode when you were talking about harvesting the corn. Keep up the great work dag!
Some drivers find it easy to park dollied trailers by attaching it to the front and pushing it back instead of the constant fear of jackknifing. This is indeed a neat map. Still loving your vids, thanks
Just fyi. I absolutely love playing on HUGE MAPS with HUGE FIELDS but on those maps, it takes a little longer for the growth stages to load. If you skip a month or two sometimes I have to wait 7 or 8 minutes for the growth stages to catch up. You can watch it catch up on the field info section in the map. It will go from north to south
Dolly trailers are a pain to reverse. That's why I went out of my way to get a Claas Carat 140 TD. It has a bigger capacity, even without the extension, and it's on a tandem axle. And it just looks better too, if you're into that. Personally I think all that is worth more than side tipping.
In the xml files, wheat does not growth (missing the text ) for 3 months and this maps calendar is a little earlier then normal with a harvest in July and August. Might be a problem with what stage it generated on when the map started.
Hi Daggerwin, Go in your settings and make sure seasonal growth didn't accidentally get paused. That can make fields not progress. Just a thought So glad you are adding some new mods and game play! Thank you
This is a Good start to hopefully a long and fun series. Would love to maybe see you use courseplay in a series.. Keep up the great content i love watching it all.
Yeah I have no problem seeing why you like. By the way a little bit of topic, do you know if the production point making piano at the premium expansion is meant to be possible to place on other maps as well?
If you not doing pigs. Just sell the pig yard and buy some other plot of land. And also it would be nice to see you do some corn silage again. That's also a great way to make money. Or suger beets. And make suger out of it.
Hey daggerwin, may I suggest you link the 2 trailers together then you can modify them to both be grain trailers or both be bales, or 1 of each. Help save on driving extra miles
That's just like American farming you dry corn to get a better price. if you wanna play then it's a mobile game but if you have a Xbox/PlayStation controller then you can Bluetooth them together and it is so much easier to play
In Farming Simulator, having Seasons on prevents a field from advancing to the stage until it is at the correct stage for the seasonal growth chart for that field. Daggerwin should either turn Seasons off or do a restart with this new information. It is a very weird way to program Seasons behavior, but that's how Giants set it up. I have no idea why.
I know this because I had Seasons on once, and was waiting for a crop to advance to the ready to harvest growth stage, it went through several sleeps just sitting there doing absolutely nothing, until the correct growth stage was reached. I ended up wasting several thousand dollars, deleted the map and did a restart with Seasons off after that.
@@Derry2688 I mean, how hard is it to find videos on his videos page? He clearly titles them. These people constantly crying about the play list are ridiculous...
Since you dont have crop destruction on (drove the combine through the harvestable wheat on the corner and it didnt destroy it), you should get at least 1 application of fertilizer down on that Canola before resting. It will give you a significant boost.
Yep Bots are nuts. Due to the glitch with the wheat field needing to be harvested in November then having to cheat. I see no reason why you could not have set the growth time back to October. Seems fair to me. Take your time and Enjoy this map Daggerwin
Why even have a dolly trailer? I mean what's the advantage? I mean is its a larger trailer I can see having one since you can haul them with a truck or a tractor but other than that they seem to just be a pain in the a$$. They just seem unnecessary to me.
It's easier to turn heavy trailers with a dolly with lower horsepower vehicles. I can be very difficult to turn tandems on a semi trailer without sufficient power.

Just catching up on the last week's worth of videos, specifically the last episode on Zielonka. I just want to piggyback on the conversation within that episode and some of the other comments I saw. For me personally, I've lost a lot of interest in your videos since the release of FS22 (minus Haut-Beyleron). Mainly because your style of play has degraded. Several years ago, around the release of FS19 was when I first discovered your channel, you seemed to care a lot more about realistic gameplay than you do now. I know your channel has grown since then, and you're trying to expand with it, but I feel you've lost a lot of the "charm" in recent years. You're trying to pump out as many videos and series as possible, and I get it. But your Let's Plays these days are you using Super Strength for quite literally almost everything, trucks exploding off trains because you're too lazy to load the train properly, etc. Every series feels super rushed, where all you're trying to do is work as fast as possible. But you end up missing key elements of the game that help you succeed, and that your viewers want to see. I don't know how many hundreds of comments I read on your Multiplayer Survival Challenge series with Chainsaw100, where viewers were screaming at you to lime and roll. You almost never do those two things in any series now. You're constantly missing fertilizer states in fields because you can't remember which series you're on from one day to the next. As someone else pointed out, you have so many series running in parallel, you end up forgetting what exactly is happening in each series, leading to poor gameplay and bad decision making. I keep coming back because I enjoy your commentary. You keep things light and fun, but that shouldn't come at the expense of poor/disorganized gameplay. In 2024, I'd like to see some of that "charm" return to the channel. Again, as others have pointed out, instead of trying to churn out 4 different series 7 days a week with poor gameplay, I'd much prefer you went back to your roots. Maybe just do two series congruently 3-4 times per week if that means the quality of gameplay returns. One of the all-time best series you ever did was Vintage Survival on FS19. That's not by accident. You kept things slow while still progressing enough in each video to make it interesting. You didn't go crazy with "cheating" mods, you didn't lease every piece of machinery, you didn't have Super Strength running rampant. I'd love the return of "Realism is Key". No idea if you'll see this as I'm a little commenting, but please take it as constructive criticism and not negativity. Your viewers are very loyal to you, but don't lose the reason why they subscribed in the first place. Happy New Year, Dag.
Hey Daggerwin ,The 21st of January will mark 10 years of the Daggerwin channel. Any plans of making a 10 year anniversary video?
I hope everyone that watches knows this, he definitely should be celebrated for all the great videos and work he puts in for us the viewers

You may have an easier time reversing dolly trailers if you turn your tractor around and connect your trailer to the front of your tractor.
I’ve never thought of that, I’ll have to give it a go though thanks 🙏

dolly trailers are a pain imo. best way i've found of moving them is attaching to the front of the tractor. seems to make handling them easier.

I think you have some factories or green house is running. As it's cost you some money in previous episode when you sleep

why bother with thin wheels when you dont have crop destruction on anyway
You can back trailers in with the front of the tractor corrects earlier just a tip of advice
