Zack represents himself very well. I loved him as a player in T.O. and was chagrined when he was not resigned. This interview shows a sensitive, intelligent well spoken man. I’m EVEN MORE impressed after hearing him respond. His kids are lucky to have he and his wife raising them. Zack, you just keep getting BETTER…
Betcha the Leafs miss this guy huh? 😉
Zachary on the attackery. PPG super star 🤩
The Oilers need to keep him as long as possible. He fits so well on this team and I for one as a fan am so glad he is a part of it. He was meant to be an oiler in my eyes
He’s signed for 5 more years after this season so no problem there!
@@MrManfly I know. I just want him to stay an oiler until he retires
Zach is the Ultimate Professional and Great Human Being !
ive met this guy before, after a game and man is he such a good person off the ice too
Hillarious. Howe Elbowed me when I met him. Right in the nose. It was an honor.
I cant say I understand being upset by his comments since what he said was that so long as you are a good person you should be accepted and welcome in hockey. Im pretty sure good people wouldn't attack others and make them feel unwelcome
MAYBE MOST ARE GOOD
I think I sort of understand. I used to be a guy on the ice who would use LGBT slurs to taunt guys on the other team, and they did the same to me. It was partially just gamesmanship, but we were also trying to shake off our insecurities. Looking back, there might have been guys who had to hear that crap every game, and quit hockey because of it - good players...who might have gone to college or pro, or at least could have enjoyed playing rec league for the rest of their lives. I'm glad Hyman will speak out to say that he wholeheartedly welcomes LGBTQ+ people to the game, even if many other players and fans aren't there yet.
Great player. He's added alot to the Oilers team.
Fan Favorite Hyman 😇
Whatta guy.
LET'S GO OILERS !!!
Number 18 Craig Simpson is happy you are wearing his #
Toronto let him walk. Thanks!
TIMESTAMPS HOLY
Great addition, shows up every night. Seems he has both skates in the crease alot, isn't that a penalty? Am I missing something
He wrote a book? What? WHEN?)
He wrote 3!
@@dairyproducts what!?!? how!?!? What are the titles?
@@vincentperrault5900 His newest is called 'The Magician's Secret'
Zach Hyman owns SoaR!?!?
OMG
A star with Oilers. Expendable with Leafs. What is wrong with Leafs management?
There is nothing wrong with Leafs. This sort of thing happens all the time. He would not have developed into the player he is now staying in Toronto. People always look at how things are right now and forget the importance of the journey.
They prefer to spend all of their money on four players and then complain about depth
Hyman would have close to 50 goals as well if he didn’t have all his goals taken away
They weren’t goals. There is no disputing this. It’s on camera. He simply has to push the boundaries as this is how he scores and is really what the team needs. Fact is most goals in hockey are scored the way he scores.
I am proud to be straight!! ✊✊
are you even edmontonian ☠️
@@cabin4999 Are you even Canadian?
Right on. Please do not take to violence if you disagree with someone's lifestyle.
@@ragnaraxelson59 Have ease. I don't really care about anyone's sexual preferences, I am just proud to be straight, and would join a parade to show my staightness with people who understands us! ✊✊
@@tamatb well the difference Antonio, is that the straight group that we are in is not subject to violence like the LGBQT community. Can you wrap your walnut sized brain around that concept?
Acceptance also means accepting those who don’t agree with a particular agenda.
Accepting people who do not accept. Circular logic.
@@ragnaraxelson59 yes, the LGBT group who call for tolerance and acceptance are the most intolerant and least accepting group out there.
"Agenda" lol
So you say it should be ok to others that you voice your opinion that you don't like someone but you can't accept the others say the same about you?
No room for groomers….period.
You think anyone who writes a children's book, or spends time with children is a "groomer"?
Priests at sunday school?
It doesn’t matter the World turn against religion is as it written in book. So that’s where at.
try baseball instead dude ☠️
I disagree Zach Hyman, people have a right to stand up for what they don’t believe is right in their view. those that judge these shame on you , they have right to believe what they believe. In the charter of rights of freedoms and constitution of USA . There lot people making big deal out people not doing pride . I’m very disappointed in Sid and his comments. Like are you even listening to what you are saying, “ Said hockey is for Everyone “, . Which what the NHL is promoting. Let’s just look at word everyone and stupid that makes you look Sid. If Hockey’s for everyone Sid ,then I’m sorry but that word includes religion as well.
So you're saying hockey isn't for everyone? What's wrong with accepting someone that accepts you?
@@siddiq106 you’re completely missing the point
Religion (Christianity and Islam in particular) has ACTIVELY portrayed and condoned slavery in a neutral or positive tone. Does this mean we should let people allow to have the belief “slavery is and was good”??? Of course not. Everyone is allowed a belief and to express it, what they are NOT allowed to do is promote actively harmful and hateful speech and beliefs.
@@brianlau9174 Really are Christian doing slavery now , the answer is no. That is something of the past .
Religion is often used by flawed people incorrectly. In the Old Testament there are many things written about but not condoned. Most notedly, masters of slaves were to treat them well and forced slavery was forbidden. Back then, some people became slaves as they had no other options and did not want to die from poverty.@@brianlau9174
No hot topic should be freedom of Religion in believing in what you want to believe.
I don’t like the whole pride thing at all
