When record companies see renewed interest in an artist (in all the different forms that such interest takes), the next thing you know there's a reissued CD, the return of a video to television (in this case, VH-1 Soul), etc. So maybe someone out there will find the "lost," full-length vid for "Seein' Is Believing." Hello???!!!
I have to disagree with that one. Being a legend doesn't necessarily mean that you're more talented than someone who is not as famous. As far as current champ of Neo-Soul, Lauren doesn't consider herself a Neo-Soul artist to begin with, she doesn't have enough albums out, and I think Jill Scott is the current champ. When you take away everthing else and compare voice alone, then artists like Adriana, Jill Scott, Goapele, and Marsha Ambrosious, are levels above Lauren.

I think the problem with her was that her debut album was released the same time Erykah Badu was released. Her label didn't know it was a bad time...
I bought this Cd @ the pawn shop. I was lucky to come across it. I like her cd cover picture. The Cd is tight, the whole cd is good.
