- TikTok star Harrison Gilks has died. He was 18. Harrison's 'bucket list' videos chronicled his life as he battled rhabdomyosarcoma. He was diagnosed with the rare cancer in 2020. In his final TikTok post, Harrison revealed the cancer had spread throughout his body. 'I love you guys, thank you for the support,' he said. 'Bucket list complete.'

What a brave guy...he is from my city in N.B Canada... I'm so glad he got to do so many things he wanted to. I had two cancers at the same time a few years ago and it's hard not to feel angry at cancer for taking someone so young... I can only hope that treatments keep getting better and better and maybe a cure and a way to diagnose it quicker. I lost a brother to a sarcoma of the soft tissue at 34.. cancer sucks. RIP Harrison

The sadest part is that hes the same age as me. I'm sad that someone my age would just pass away like this. He didn't even get the chance to start his starting life. My condolences in his family. R.I.P.

Damn. When people even younger than me die it is a big perspective changer. I’m only 22 and damn near feel invincible, but you see this shit happening.
I had the same impression. The past year put things into perspective for me. I‘m 23 now and last year someone I knew from kindergarten who lived near to my home died. He was the same age as me. Also cancer. I have read so many articles about people younger than me dying from cancer and even some RUclipsrs my age or younger died from cancer. I have never seen so many young people die from cancer and we can be so thankful when our families and we are healthy.
18 years is just way to young to go.
Same, I'm 19 and I have old parents who are nearing their 60s and as a single child I worry for their health everyday, seeing these people enjoying their life even during such a crisis makes me want to treasure and enjoy the life in the present.
