Great video, you do need the .yaml and .pth won't work without the .yaml also, i found that out the hard way. when you in paint, change the prompt to say neon sign it will only affect the in paint.
@@CreatixAi odd it did not work for me, then i came across a RUclipsr on installing after watching 3 that said just .pth, But his said you need the .yaml, So did that and it worked and has worked fine since. I think it has to do witht he Git pull code when you run controlnet, I have 3 computers on one i did not have to download the .pth or .yaml but noticed it was taking longer and when looking at the CMD it was pulling and downloading the files on the first run, but a month later when I installed on another PC it did not work lead to the download of the .pth files and still no go, the the .yaml and it worked. so might be the way the update versions of control net change and what it does mabe people got upset with auto download or the .pth .yaml makers said no you can't auto download due to wanting credit. seems to be inconsistent. but its worth pointing out for others.

ok tried it, it doesnt work with sdxl model, i downloaded the exact model checkpoint i.e photon v1 and it sorta works
