I met Jerry Lee at a small kentucky county airport in 1969. We talked for a while that evening as he waited for a cab to drive him over to Williamson, WV. where he was to preform that night. He talked straight, was just himself. A man just like you and me. Told me that he had been very broke after the DJ' s banned his music, but was coming back. I never forgot him.
Beautiful and sincere. He's been to hell and back - he's had a hard, hard life that would've completey broken a weaker person. He's a survivor. God bless him for all the joy he has brought to so many people.

God didn't bring them back from the brink of death, the Doctors et al did, be grateful to them not this invisible God who apparently very "cleverly created this earth in 6 days " and all the billions of small creatures and of course us humans, I guess he really did have to rest on the 7th day.
