People are upset that Tabor is pulling a Tarkov. They tried do it with the permanent names ingame. When it was brought up in the discord, admins are completely condescending. Then they are surprised the community won’t let it go.
As a CWS game tester, in locked channels with devs. we have had nothing down the pipeline in years but content is coming out so not sure where they are testing. but its not their own testers and have also been told to touch grass reporting bugs so really not surprised the game has failed. they dont give a F about us. they made $15 mil on a beta game
this is truly the end of tabor, i think. if they dont do something game-changing (not a new map. a new, free, actually fun feature) then im worried for the future of this game. with the contractors exfilzone mode having a full release soon, i think tabor will plummet. and due to the alleged working conditions i cant bring myself to support this game anymore. ill check out the game after wipe. see how it is. but i honestly just dont care anymore.
I'm glad there are people actually talking about this. I love Tabor, I've been a die hard fan since launch. The biggest thing that really puts me off of this game is not even related to the game, it's the devs shitty attitude towards the community. The devs (Scott especially) are way too sensitive to any type of criticism of their game, while seemingly ignoring small issues until they become to big to ignore. I understand being sensitive about someone criticizing your baby, but I don't think Scott has grasped yet, that, as such an active face of the company and game, the way you react to the criticism really matters. Any mention of exfilzone in the discord is immediately met with hate, accusations, or a call for the mods to ban you. I saw Scott himself soft accuse exfilzone of being an asset flip. (at least more so than Tabor) I know discord is a place of passion, but if the devs can't listen and process criticism from the community straight from their game's discord, then where are they going to see the discourse around their game and it's soon to be biggest competitor? Discourse is not a thing on discord, go figure. I'm really looking forward to exfilzone. Who's to say if their devs will be any better at following through. Though by the looks of it, they listen to Tabor's community more than CWS does lol. like you mentioned, I'm just hoping this lights a fire under CWS's ass to actually realize this great game that they really do have.
I hate how long it takes to water your plants. It does not need to be that long. I don't have the patience for it and as a result I'm unable to get many meds.. :/ Feels frustrating.
Saying Exfilzone is “arcady” due to graphics is a little insane to me, i do understand the movement being arcady but i will say to me exfilzone is definitely grittier, the fact your arm can get broken and your aim starts to become swayed or your stomach can get punctured and you start losing food and water at a extra rate. Tabor has always felt cut and center for me and I guess that’s why I don’t prefer it, that and it seems like they don’t listen to the community.
Interesting, it does feel more arcady to me graphics wise.. perhaps because it seems brighter and more colourful? But maybe it’s just me 😂 I love the healing mechanics in Exfilzone. I’m going to be playing it over Tabor no doubt!
Fish's whole "everyone should get their 100 hours and move on" comment was REALLY out of touch with reality and honestly makes me not want to support GoT because of that, I really enjoy the game but with a dev's attitude like that makes me not want to play
Contractors exfil zone is hardly acradey, everything about the gameplay is more hardcore and gritty except the graphics themselves, the graphics are a bit arcadey, but it has a fully fleshed out health system like tarkov that’s way more complex and punishing than tabors, plus the ai are better in this game and push you while you’re healing or reloading, and the ammo/armor system is a lot more in depth than tabors, instead of there being just fmj or ap each different caliber has a ton of different ammo types with different levels of armor penetration/damage so there’s in between ammos and stuff instead of just barely going through armor at all with fmj to going through the highest level armor every time with ap, it baffles me why people keep saying the game feels arcadey😭
2 different games doing theyre own thing in a same genre , there is never gonna just be one game, im always one that games because i love it, and have been mad about tabor for months because its a great game, dont get me wrong exfil is also a fun game too , but i think its more the people that are creating this drama , going on about a DLC for a new mode and its paid for , you can look at it two ways , 1 look at it that this company is working hard to bring ongoing content on a game and to pay a little bit for a DLC shouldnt be frowned apon we should want to support our devs of a great game or 2 people can choose to not be happy about it which happens in most games these days, either way i just think Drama is stupid we should all be trying to grow the VR industry , instead people nowa days prefer to make drama out of something so small
I feel like the main issue with that, is that the base game people paid for is a buggy mess. So instead of making that better they are seen to be bringing out content only for people who pay again, so it makes the people who have supported from the start and gone through a lot with this games ups and downs feel betrayed. The dev himself also went online and called long term players a liability, so I don’t feel like you can say that it’s people creating the drama. The devs aren’t helping themselves. Even since I’ve made this video more has come out about the working practices of the company etc, so really they are causing all this and then to rub it all in making people pay for new content.
It’s not so much the player count it’s more to do with how a lot of the community feels The DLCs are part of the problem, when the base game has so many issues

The games I’ve plaid with my trio we’ve had a good 10 bugs in the last couple of days alone, people being completely kicked, graphics bugs and I’m not the only one, on Reddit etc people post about it with proof etc
So it feels like a kick in the teeth for the devs to go online and call long term players liabilities, hide new content behind paywalls and then get bug after game breaking bug

Tabor and ExfilZone take way too much grinding and are way too similar for people to play both. There will only be one.
