So polite.
Yeah XD
Its like watching a giant wall slowly fall from above
I was waiting for this the entire video and you weren’t kidding
As a dude who has ADHD, this is something that usually happens when im practicing a piece that I don’t care about, like when the teacher leaves you a piece that you dont like. Because (at least for me) I usually am hyper focused on things i like, so its not likely that i will be distracted on a chopin piece.
This is single handedly the most relatable thing i have heard in my whole life
I also have ADHD and I am the same way.
It’s a person who also has ADHD I could agree it’s like a super power at least that’s what everyone says but it’s a very annoying superpower I also paused like 20 minutes in between writing all of this😂😂😂

This actually feels relatable, I don’t play piano but my mind strays from what I am thinking about to something else.
i literally was talking to one of my coworkers today, and i trailed off midsentence because i forgot a word, and i started making a rhythmic noise with mouth while trying to remember and that vocal stim decided it was going to turn itself into a funky little beat
@@kylieschuttloffel1261 When I try making a video and try to reference on thing I end up making a whole rant about it
I’m having flashbacks to one time I had the most random train of thoughts and I managed to go from tires swings --> lettuce --> sleepovers--> pizza ---> lettuce again
Yeah this is how I think, not how I'd play piano. I do play some instruments, and once I get into a groove I can't do anything else until I finish the phrase! But if I were uninterested in what I was playing, this is exactly how I'd play 😆

Most interesting part like the original rush E, we can hear the rush E main sound in that screen-filled notes
That's because they can modify how much force to press a key with, they just fill the entire chart with zero energy notes complitely covering the actual ones

As someone, who actually has ADHD...I appreciate the joke, but it is exactly the opposite of what I usually do...while it's true, that people with ADHD lose focus easily, this usually (at least for me) only happens with things I am not interested in. That being said...if you are interested in something (and this is the plus side which everyone with ADHD knows, but maybe not appreciates) you get into a state of hyperfocus, which results into something like you trying to play e.g. La Campanella over and over, forgetting everything else.
What if he wasn't interested tho 🤔
Like he's being required to do so
Or executive dysfunction
I have adhd as well and even if I'm interested in doing something executive dysfunction will stop me from doing that thing productively so maybe it's that 🤷
@@greydungeon2384 really? If I'm into it I forget everything else...Eating, drinking, sleeping...just doesn't exist
@@dirk5697 I get into hyperfixation mode too it's just that executive dysfunction is stronger than hyperfixations
As someone with ADHD I can confirm this. but I also appreciate the joke. but perhaps this might happen to someone who has ADHD and wants to play just has no idea what to play and the idea's just keep popping up?
This is more about what it might feel like rather than how they play.
Which to me is accurate lol
As a guy who actually has ADHD, I can confirm that this is 100% accurate to what we do when we learn how to play the piano

This is the most accurate description of me playing any instrument ever. It's just ridiculous how many times my brain just switches to a completely different song (it's usually or frustration for making mistakes or they just both sound nice together or something lmao).
Chopin could probably play Rush E- thankfully it wasn't written by Chopin with cooperation from smb cause that could cause pain.
COULD cause pain?! As if the solo SMB version doesn’t already cause pianists’ hands to bleed 😂
@@kayejk Do you know who Chopin is? Chopin could make your hands fall off faster than your hands would bleed.

The Rush E section was perfect
As a person with ADHD, I am extremely offended by this tired stereotype, because the whole joke is just getting distracted, which to be fair, I do get distracted often like this one time in highschool where I was supposed to be working on my physics project about lighting, reflections and shadows and I just ended up playing Minecraft where I just couldn't find a single diamond in this whole system of caves and ravines, which speaking of caves, spelunking is one of my favorite things to do because I had to go on many spelunking field trips when I was in elementary school, which I had a lot of good teachers like my second grade teacher who taught me how to write with my left hand while my right one was in a cast because I had syndactyly, which is when your fingers are webbed together with extra skin like a platypus, which are my favorite animal because of Perry the Platypus from Phineas and Ferb-my favorite Disney cartoon and... wait, what was I talking about again?
