I can tell he remembers it clearly. He was always ready for the hate from her. He only had to surrender because she just do not want to left him.
If she had left him then he would have just stayed away from her. I don't understand that why people think she is the only victim...if he had not said those harsh words then she would have stayed by his side and would have try every way to get him out of there even though she had to fight her parents, society or those evil friends. and she could not have become that sucessful by that time.
He only said that to he knows he broke her heart but his heart too he he just wanted her go abroad get degrees yes she suffered for it anxious but after three years later he got out prisons she came home she didn't even visit her parents when she returned

This scene pissed me off so bad. If this was me that's where I would've given up on the guy completely. Ain't no way he pushed her away thinking he was doing some 'greater good' and get jealous when she got herself a close guy friend other than him. Mind you, Zhang Yi many times pointed it out over the course of their 4 years relationship about how he never consults her or others when he takes important decisions. And this was before all that shit went down.
Li Xun finally flipped when he saw her friend touching her and massaging her shoulders. He LOST it. Unfortunately, the character isn't someone who's good at expressing himself and he's even more shite at admitted his vulnerabilities. In this moment, he went fully on the attack and verbally hurt her to bring her into a matching state of emotional distress to his.

No he did that so she would leave him and listen to her parents but she didn't. The main intention behind those hurtful words is for her good. But she didn't leave him. So he also gave up deviating her and loved her back, beacuse he understood that without him she can't live happily. He kept pushing her away even after many years but she wasn't able to take it and went into depression. So he understood that he is so important for her and stopped pushing her away even if her parents won't accept

Not a partnership or a way any relationship should be. He was wrong from the start for keeping her out of his plan by hurting her to make her leave. It’s his own trauma that give him that reaction but that doesn’t make what he did is right. His pain matters but hers don’t? Since he already made the mistake to push her away despite her always being there for him, then what right does he has to be jealous or mean to her. What gives him the right. That standard literally could not be lower for him. She literally loves him unconditionally, yet he trampled on her feelings over and over. After years in prison, he still hasn’t improved. Over and over again, he choose to hurt her, to keep her away instead of letting her in and walk forward with her. He doesn’t deserve her devotion honestly. But Its wev bc it’s just a fictional show but honestly no man have the right to treat a girl like that in real life. No matter the reason. He deserve to get criticized by the viewers for these moments. We’re not supposed to hold up his actions as some noble sacrifice. You’re responsible for your action and the hurt you caused others. It’s not your love one’s job to fix you. That’s for therapy. If a FL did half of the things he did, she would be hated and trampled to shreds in the comments

LX was simply crying out to her about their love and reminding her how she promised to always be with him. If you remember, even during the job interview he taunts her about how easy it is to use empty words and make empty promises. The moment Rendi told him about ZY’s impending marriage plans with the painter and then seeing her moving closely with him and the final straw literally seeing them together at her home at night time, he couldn’t handle his bursting emotions, sadness and jealousy.
