I would have to use a magnifying glass for more than 14 Aida 😆 though I have learned embroidery in the past years so I am familiar with linen and cotton backing fabrics. I would hope some day to combine both kinds of stitches 😊🙏🏽🙋🏻♀️👍🏽Mia

This was such an interesting video. I have been cross stitching for 40+ years and have always used Aida cloth. I hate making mistakes so linen never really appealed to me. I am curious about the Evenweave fabric but wonder if I could adapt to the over 2 technique after years of just using over 1 stitching. Really appreciated your list of pros and cons for each of the fabric types.

Thank you for your videos! Very helpful. I'm brand new to cross stitch but I'm loving it! I have a question. I bought a graph that the sample was stitched on 28 count evenweave. 2 strands over 2 threads. If I use 14 count Aida will it be the same size if I i stitch two threads over 1? That part confuses me so I wanted to make sure.
