An emotional goodbye at the airport - DCDR airport run

It's always hard to lose someone you love. The same applies to animals. DCDR (Dogs and Cats of the Dominican Republic) pick up street animals, take care for them in a foster home until they are healthy and then send them to their adopters in Canada. Even though they only provide a temporary home for an animal, foster parents have a tough good-bye at the airport for every animal that is sent for its new home. "Our hearts break so that theirs shall never break again!"
