Yes. It is a different form of the original musical instrument.

The history of Yeongsanhoesang goes back to the beginning of the Joseon dynasty, but was not developed as popular instrumental music until the mid-17th century. There are three variations of Yeongsanhoesang today: String Yeongsanhoesang; Wind Yeongsanhoesang; and Pyeongjohoesang. String Yeongsanhoesang consists of nine movements, namely, Sangnyeongsan; Jungnyeongsan; Seryeongsan; Garakdeori; Samhyeon Dodeuri; Hahyeon Dodeuri; Yeombul Dodeuri; Taryeong; and Gunak, but both Wind Yeongsanhoesang and
Pyeongjohoesang have only eight of these, leaving out Hahyeon Dodeuri.
The entire suites may be performed as a whole, but one or a few movements can be played alone, solo or
ensemble.
