    Image how much greater she would have been had her country supported her and not bash and post hateful things about her. Image if she had people who believed in her even after constantly proving that she’s a great gymnast.

    If Gabby Douglas did her Amanar, and connected her bar with more transitions, she could have beaten Simone here.

    Gabby has the potential to upgrade all FOUR apparatuses. Biles has the highest D score of everyone in the World. And that makes it much harder for Biles to upgrade...perhaps a double layout 2/1 on UB.

    • @kojobaidoo4667
      @kojobaidoo4667 8 лет назад +4

      Have you seen Biles's upgrades? She could have around 6.3-6.5 with an upgraded dismount and transitions on bars, a Cheng coming on vault, possible triple wolf turn on beam, and a double double layout on floor. There is lots of room to upgrade for her, and even at her 2013 level she could have taken the all around medal both in 2014 and 2015. She's untouchable, and probably will remain so.

    douglas just did not deserved the spot in the all-around just because maggie nichlos in the qualification was used only 3 apparatus just only to not overscored douglas for the all-around and then used on all 4 apparatus on team final while douglas in 3 and it make no sense and also raisman if she did not have so much problem in the qualification she easily beat douglas in these moment! She earned her spot to this AA just for the popularity that she have and martha know that! i hope that in rio with biles will go for the AA the most deserved gymnast

    • @bgreen5234
      @bgreen5234 8 лет назад +30

      +duke shopos What on earth are you talking about? Douglas AA score STILL beat Maggie Nichols, Now if you want to talk about Raisman getting an AA spot then you might have an argument. Have a seat!

    • @iloveyouforeve0213
      @iloveyouforeve0213 8 лет назад +22

      Whether you believe she deserved it or not doesn't matter. Gabby came in second to arguably the best female gymnast of all time. That's pretty god damn deserving of her spot if you ask me.

    • @25peyimwen
      @25peyimwen 8 лет назад +3

      +duke shops well, they a have chance to go at it on march 5 at the ATT american cup, I believe martha made the best choice ,because gabby and Raisman both have way more experience than Maggie, and plus her scores are nothing to rave about , she's an ok gymnast to me , easily forgettable.

    • @mgawsmestevan23
      @mgawsmestevan23 8 лет назад +11

      +duke shopos - So what are your thoughts now that Maggie vs Gabby happened at the American Cup? Considering Gabby hasn't added any upgrades yet and still won? She may not be able to beat Simone (who can really), but I'd say Maggie and Gabby are pretty even in terms of AA. Maggie stronger on floor and Gabby on bars. If we're speaking of Team gold and not just about individual gold. I think its safe to say Maggie, Gabby, Simone are very strong contenders and will definitely make the US team. Which is what we should be arguing about, not the two spots they have to fight for at the Olympic qualification trials for.

    • @iloveyouforeve0213
      @iloveyouforeve0213 8 лет назад +3

      mgawsmestevan I think Maggie is in a rough spot right now. She tore her meniscus and had to have surgery to repair it. Out for 4 to 6 weeks. She needs to be able to come back as strong as she was before. The problem for her is that they might downgrade her vault because she torr her meniscus on the amanar.
